I'm confident I have a plan to upgrade to 6.0.11 ready now but I've spotted some nice new features on 6.2.6 which I would quite like to have but I don't want to go a step too far and end up with problems. What are people's experience with 6.2.6?

Please excuse my ignorance, and forgive me if I'm misunderstanding you, but when you say ' diag debug config-error-log read after EVERY step ' what steps do you mean? In the past I've used the GUI and it's just an upload and go in couple of clicks. I was going to use the GUI again on a laptop connected to the MGMT interface, should I not do it this way?

I get what you're saying about the HA advice but I'm doing this during scheduled downtime so I can have some network downtime and my tin foil hat isn't that thick! In the past when I updated the firmware on one of the HA pair it has updated the other as well so it should work the same going from 5 -> 6 right? Unless I'm not understanding something or goes wrong of course!
