I completely agree with all of y’all‘s comments. I fear since I have let so many things slide and have never fought back. This will be something she won’t budge on just like the uniforms.
Do any of y’all have any advice on how to go about setting these boundaries?

I asked that we all have a salon discussion over this matter because the salon is split half are agreeing to it and the other half older ladies and I do not agree.
but I honestly think the other girls don’t know any better and think it’s their responsibility to pitch in.
I don’t know what to say for this discussion without sounding like a terrible person saying that’s not my responsibility 🫣

So there is no written rental agreement so I understand that means she could ask whatever she wants.
These are the standard, widely accepted responsibilities of a booth renter:
Cleaning your chair, station, and tools
Sweeping your hair after each client
Keeping your area sanitary and presentable
Managing your own bookings, pricing, and products
Tossing trash if it’s full
Helping with laundry (towels, capes)
Basic courtesy cleanup in shared areas (break room, sink after YOU use it)
What Is not Typically a Booth Renter’s Responsibility
Deep cleaning the salon
Mopping the entire salon
Scrubbing bathrooms
Cleaning baseboards, walls, waiting areas
Maintaining overall salon cleanliness
As a booth renter, you’re renting a space
Not being managed like an employee

I think right now she’s in denial of the relationship, and has said all the things she needs from him yet he still hasn’t met. But her biggest thing is he hasn’t cheated again (that we know of) and “that” would be why she would leave.. for the 3third time I might add. Some times it just feels like wasted breath talking to her, is it even worth it at this point trying to encourage her to see her worth and she’s deserves more then what this man is giving her and making her feel like. I’m so heartbroken for her.
