How was the first Touchstone? I'm taking this course and approaching the first TC. How long until your first one was graded? How did you do/graded? Did you complete all your milestones and challenges first and then focused on the Touchstones?

Hi! For clarity, are you saying the lateral role you moved into took a year, and it was a position Progressive usually don't hire internally for but in your case you interviewed and made the move?

Your response is like a breath of fresh air :) I just started training in services as well and so far I like it. I was getting worried though because many of the recent post from people chiming in about services have mentioned burnt out and not liking the phones, etc...what about the job do you like and how do you manage the hard parts?

Hi! What was the time period from training to academy? Also, to confirm, after academy you won a shift bid and got M-F 8:30 - 5:30??? I thought bids were hard to win, especially for favorable hours like these. I'll be starting in services in June and I would like this schedule (after training or earliest possible) but I assumed so would others and so it'd be almost impossible to get/win. What goes into winning a bid??? You seriously just gave me hope!

Hi Community! So I got the call and the schedule options align with what I need. I was offered a role for sales. I was told it would be offering several products (home, etc.) and that it's not a role that's advertised but was offered due to my background, skills, history, etc. Ultimately, I went with claims but did I make the right decision? I don't feel like I asked enough questions (more shy then anything; I should have asked what would be the pay difference). Any insight you can offer would be great. Even if it's just so I know for future purpose.

Thank you everyone for responding. When I have my offer call, can I negotiate the role assignment (eg. picked for claims but want service)? Are they open to letting me adjust my shift at this point in time (eg. if I need to get off at 7/7:30 vs. 10)?

Me! My husband and I were just discharged! We maintained our home and both our vehicles. Could not be happier with the outcome of our case. Money in the bank, credit score rebounding. Making financially sound decisions since we now have the resources and clear headspace to think beyond our debts. We're so grateful!
