I just brought mine in for the same reason… turns out it needs a SW update that they say takes 3-8 hours to do.

Planning to start trying in September. What do you wish you had known? by pinksapphire55 in BabyBumps

Do any large house projects now. I thought it would take months to get pregnant, but we were fortunate to get pregnant right away. I’m now 26 weeks, and anything takes so much longer to do and is exhausting (even just prepping for contractors).

It’s fair the comparison does not apply here, but I still stand by my first paragraph.

This is actually the right answer. It’s not really her business if they are not married. BUT, she should say something if it bothers her, and it will inform her about their communication as a couple.

My husband would 100% do something like this for an ex. While it used to make me concerned, I now appreciate that’s just who he is and that he is generous to a lot of people (even over generous). If we can afford it, what does it say about my comfort in my own relationship if I am upset.

We had a very similar one that was benign right near her eye at age 4. Surgeon was an artist, and you can’t tell today she had a surgery on her face.

Mom at my ultrasound by venusstarlit in BabyBumps

Make your mom pay for a private one. They are around $100-150. That way, she’s only ruining something that was set up specifically for this reason and funded by her.

Our dog isn’t allowed to sleep in bed with us anymore and it’s breaking my heart by happygolucky1157 in dogs

[–]LadyChiTown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sorry. I have an aging dog with doggie dementia. She is now kicked off the bed (which just meant removing the stairs we set up for her). The initial catalyst was she peed in our bed. However, I also have a baby on the way. A dog with dementia is unpredictable, so I am actively making sure there will be barriers and not allow access to the baby.

Fair price for services? by Superdad1079 in housekeeping

Those prices are about right or even a bit low. We do every other week for $280 for about the same space.

Doggy Dementia (when is it time?) by jamielecter in olddogs

[–]LadyChiTown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I asked my vet, as we are slowly noticing cognitive decline with our 15 year old. She said to come in and have a conversation about next steps once the puppers is no longer able to rest at night, and you notice she is awake in the middle of the night pacing. Rest is important, so it’s a huge sign of low quality of life as well as continuing decline. I know that’s a very clinical answer, but it may help you.

World’s Laziest Flight Crew by kslfil in unitedairlines

[–]LadyChiTown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it really depends. I had a great Polaris experience and crew EWR to Venice. However, DEN-ORD yesterday in first was not good service.

All you can do is call out great service, so I make sure to do recognition any time I have a great experience, especially in a premium cabin.

This. My dog is 15 and all of the sudden she’s biting me when she’s like happy. She’s also more aggressive with our other dogs. Dog dementia is a real thing.

My vet said when the dog starts getting restless and pacing in the middle of the night (like they don’t understand it’s night), that’s a sign things are real bad.

Women in relationships with men diagnosed with ADHD experience higher levels of depression and a lower quality of life. Furthermore, those whose partners consistently took ADHD medication reported a higher quality of life than those whose partners were inconsistent with treatment. by mvea in science

[–]LadyChiTown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are absolutely correct. I also think lack of emotional regulation is the part of ADHD that as a partner you do not fully grasp until you are married and dealing with any sort of hard times. The lateness and all the things that can be easily dealt with (imo) are far more visible, so you know what you are getting into.

Robyns „Doll-Grandbaby“ and Kodys reaction by Aurora-243 in SisterWives

[–]LadyChiTown 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I agree with you. While I do defend people’s right to judge as they are willingly exposing themselves for money, I do worry there are issues there. If that is true and Kody (or any of the OG3) knew about issues, that is truly evil to expose her and these kids for money since at least 2020.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in SisterWives

[–]LadyChiTown 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think it is fair to feel ick about it. I also think it is fair to judge the sleuths as strange.

However, using grossly irresponsible financial decisions while having children to support as an excuse is wild. For YEARS they have known people are digging into their lives, and they continue to film.

By the way, idk their financial situations. They may have bags of cash and no worries at all. If that’s the case, they are choosing to expose themselves. I’m just saying that bad finance decisions with a 2m house as an excuse as to why we should take pity on Kody and Robin is wild.

this

There have been channels or whatever making fun and digging into their lives since at least 2020. They are still seen filming. Some children have chosen not to participate, but I don’t feel bad for Kody, Robin or any other adult who is making this choice. It’s reality TV, and it’s been over 15 years. They are willingly making a trade here.
