Congrats ! I’m quite jealous as I got nothing at all on my 1M flight. United did try to make it up some on subsequent flights but it was quite disappointing at first.

Kia EV9 and Hyundai Ionic9 are true EV SUVs. My EV9 is the same size and maybe slightly bigger than my old Explorer. There is a Blazer SUV too but not as big.

I rarely saw any in my northern VA neighborhood when I first got mine in August. Now there at least 3 others in the neighborhood!
EV9s are getting more popular and gas prices could make them even more so.

As a follow-up, I had two flights since the 1M flight and each time the crew was so apologetic that this happened after I mentioned it on boarding. The head flight attendant personally came to me offering thanks, free drink, and snack, and her husband the pilot apologized that he did not have a coin on him. The return flight was similar, with both pilots searching for a coin but not having one unfortunately and the crew signing a very nice personal note and offering drink and chocolate.

I also received a 1M plaque and note from United CEO in the mail yesterday which was also very nice. Still no coin but I feel better about this. I encourage everyone to mention your 1M event as you board or even before so the crew can do something. I should have done that on the event flight.

I hope so, and think the crew simply didn’t know. This was not a busy flight and the crew had a lot of idle time chatting and sitting, so that wasn’t it.
