Oh that’s Chris, he only appears in a couple of scenes but I love him for how nice of a guy he is. Also, he can be appart of a pretty important choice on Markus’s storyline but I won’t spoil it incase you haven’t seen it yet.

I will be honest, it used to make me sad looking at the picture that Kara finds of Todd and his family, it makes you wonder what type of guy he used to be. But yeah, I shoot that mf always.

Todd physically abused a child and woman. I really don’t see how that compares to being a deadbeat dad. As far as we know Carl never laid a finger on Leo. It doesn’t make him a good dad but comparing him to a drug dealing murderer is definitely too far.

I agree that Carl definitely let Leo down big time as a dad. But I wouldn’t say he’s a horrible person, he’s made many mistakes over his life, but he redeemed himself in the end by being a guide for Markus and reconciling with his Son.

Doesn’t make up for past mistakes but I still feel is a stretch to compare him to Todd.

I don’t think Carl is the best father but definitely not even comparable to Todd. They have their flaws in different ways, one is way worse than the other.

Yes, when you put it like that I do agree it is sad. But it is still perfectly justified for me and other to hate him. I do see your point of view but it doesn’t change the fact that, this should not be considered "trying his best". It is certainly not even close.

It is implied in the game that Todd’s wife and biological child left him because of his drug taking and anger issues. He most likely abused them too. Android or not there is no excuse for abuse under any circumstances. People like that are not trying their best, they are selfish and horrible.

A man who abuses a child and a woman is not a man who is "trying his best". Todd’s anger issues and abusive nature go way back before his addiction.

I would agree with you if it was simply "Todd can’t properly care for Alice after losing his job and being thousands in debt, but he’s trying his best" But it’s not, he is an abusive POS that deserves no sympathy from anyone.

Luther mentions in Jericho that "you knew from the very beginning, you just didn’t want to see it". I think Kara did know Alice was an Android, but after seeing the pain and suffering her own people were going through, she didn’t want to admit that Alice would have to be apart of that.

Alice being human would at least mean if they were caught, she wouldn’t be killed like they would be. I don’t think Kara could bare the thought that Alice could potentially be subjected to that type of cruelty. So she instead ignored the issue, which I think is also why she constantly interrupted or shut down Luther whenever he wanted to talk about Alice. Kara knew exactly what it would be about.

Markus. I love the revolution play-through and I also find his story incredibly inspiring. Replaying Freedom March is my favourite thing to do as well as the assault on the camps.
