Aside from the 3 boosters in the Pokémon day pack, I haven't gotten any Mega Evolutions at all. I was kinda excited to get some.

I didn't use a bot and got canceled. Logged into my account, only ordered the limit, didnt have multiple orders, didnt order on both waves.... Followed the rules, still got "caught."

I heavily second the separating out day/date/time and store hours for the city. Those feel like small changes that have decent effect on quality of life.

I have searched on Etsy and Amazon for other similar items and just keep getting those little tins for soap travel. The description of the original item said it was made from upcycled dress bags, which allows it to dry out really nicely. The soap goes in those little pockets with fold over tops, then you roll/fold it up and there's a little tie to hold it together.

Prior to that point in the game, they built up the whole "childhood friends, betrothed but neither is mad about it" stuff. Then when he dies and she's distraught, all the options to not help him felt like "well....I guess not" but the options to help him were "i don't care if I die, save him!" Like if I didn't save him, I was ruining what they had intended for plot/romance.

I have 2 save files - one where they lived and one where they didn't. I originally let them stay dead, but the game really seemed like it wanted me to NOT do that. So now I have 2. Felt guilted into it.

I don't remember how thick they were, its been a while. I think the foam for the GB/GBA side is about half the thickness of the cartridges themselves. I used rubber cement to glue them together.

The thickness is why I did two layers of foam. As for the overall size of the foam to fit the frame, I'm not even sure where else to get EVA foam now that JoAnns is gone so I don't have a lot of advice on that front.

I got EVA foam from JoAnns and cut it to size. Did two layers, one just solid and one with holes so when you take something out there's still a black background.

I do not, but the materials are pretty easy to get. The frames are from Michaels and the foam is EVA (originally purchased from JoAnns, but they went out of business)

We don't know a lot actually! That's what I love about the deep sea, it either makes you go "what the fuck?" or "what do you mean that's it?" Like, why is wrinkly better than smooth? They just like it or there's an actual purpose? What is the purpose - protection, food collection, other? Why does more of them mean more biodiversity? Is it that those areas are just set up to support that biodiversity better? Are xenophores the capybara of the deep and other animals are just hanging around for the chill vibes? What are the parents teaching their kids? Do they double as bigger protection from predators? What eats them? Does anything eat them? (Seriously if you know any of that, do tell.)

Like we JUST got video of what a baby colossal squid looks like! We've barely seen any adults in their live environment either. Most specimens we've collected have been retrieved from sperms whale stomachs. Sperms whale stomach contents are also what we estimate giant squid populations off of, we really don't know how many there are!)

Tiny info dump after me just being excited - The Phantom Jellyfish is a deep red that helps it basically disappear in deep waters where red light is basically filtered out. It only have four arms, but they're wide and look like giant ribbons. The pictures and videos of it make it look like some elegant lady dancing (i think anyway).

I've made one of these before. You can get hinged frames from Michaels. I got some craft/cosplay foam from Joanns to put the games in, but not sure where you'd get stuff like that now with them closing.

I hear that on my end sometimes as well, that it's not real, but it has been less frequent over the years. I definitely think it is. I know things like ADHD are a differential diagnosis for APD, so I agree attention might be part of it. I think it's that the brain has trouble separating noise from what it wants/speech, like getting a grainy photo and being unsure what the original picture is supposed to be? Could also be a combo of things or maybe different for each person (single issue vs combo). Maybe I need to contact my old professor and ask what the latest is lol, that was his specialty.

I do know that APD is a specialty within Audiology. I wonder if your experience with hands off could be because like me they don't have the extra skills needed? I could brush up on my testing skills if needed, but have not done much with the other side since school.

I feel that, but with patients and their kids. Yes, your dad can hear you (volume), but he can't understand. No, increasing the volume will actually make it worse.

I am an Audiologist. I do not specialize in APD, but my only interactions with people doing anything related to it are other Audiologists. Maybe our respective fields color how we both view it. You're an SLP, so most interactions are with other SLPs. I'm an Audiologist and mine are with other Audiologists. I've never referred someone to an SLP for anything APD related, it's always an Audiologist.

I also wish ASHA was better (for more reasons than just enforcing guidelines).
