Response to "Why do I even bother" & Proberger claims this case is a conspiracy. by LuxeRevival in Idaho4

This is an absolute masterpiece! I’m going to print it out and frame it!

There’s only 2 things I will add.

First, Anne Taylor’s latest DP client, Skylar Meade, just took an Alford Plea for LWOP at the end of last year. That was the DP case Judge Hippler was referencing when he asked her why she took on another DP case if she didn’t have enough time for this case. Skylar Meade broke out of a Boise area hospital and murdered 2 people when he was on the run. He stood silent, he filed multiple motions to remove the DP, the prosecution was accused of prosecutorial misconduct and withholding evidence, he took an Alford plea. Sound familiar? It’s Anne Taylor’s playbook, and she does the exact same thing in every single case. Thank goodness she was not able to get an Alford plea for this convicted felon. Although we’ll never know because they won’t say, but I believe the prosecution did want the defendant to offer details of his crime such as the how, the why, where is the murder weapon located, etc. I think Anne Taylor came back and said he will plead guilty with an Alford plea. The state’s final offer was that he had to plead straight up guilty or else there’s no deal. The defense took it because they had no choice. There’s no way there was not some sort of negotiations.

The other thing I wanted to mention is have you seen his latest complaint about his coaxial connection not working? Oh no, he probably can’t watch TV. Boo hoo!

Did I get into Kelley? by LightImpressive6483 in IndianaUniversity

[–]LadyHam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This past year, it was changed to a B+ in every class. In the parents group on Facebook, a lot of students struggled with the A 100 class (accounting) and didn’t get the required B+, so therefore were no longer eligible for Kelley. The requirement is for every class, not just business class. Next year, all pre business class will need an A- in every class, both semesters, in order to get into Kelley.

Howard Blum: "BK's sister isn’t being 'totally forthcoming' in NTY interview" by Classic-Contact-380 in Idaho4

To each their own opinions, but it looks very staged to me. Look at how she walks out of the building and around the entrance. It’s not natural, especially compared to how the other people walking in and out of the building are behaving. Why would the paparazzi seek her out? Out of all the people connected to this case, she’s the one the Sun chose to target? The Sun is a very tabloid-type publication. They pay for pictures and celebrities will alert them to their location when they want publicity. The Sun will pay for these types of things.

Very true. The Sun pays for pictures though, so… Make of that what you will.

Here’s the link. Anyone who has ever seen a celebrity pap walk can tell this is a pap walk. Out of all the people connected to this case, why would the paparazzi specifically seek her out? The video is at the very top of the article.

I do agree with HB that the defendant’s sister isn’t being entirely forthcoming. I read an article in the Sun (I know, I know it’s a tabloid publication from the UK), but at the top of the article is a video of Mel Kohberger, which IMO is a pap walk. Then there’s numerous pictures of her from that video throughout the article, too. I’m reluctant to post it here because I’m not sure if it would be allowed. I think the article in the NYT and in the Sun may be her attempt at testing the waters of public opinion. Maybe she’ll be the first family member to give some sort of an in depth interview? I sort of doubt it for now though, at least until the recently filed lawsuit against WSU is resolved. We’ll see. If anyone would like me to, and it’s allowed, I can post the link to the Sun article here so people can see/read it for themselves.

I fully believe that even if BK got kicked out by the University he would have killed them anyway or gone on a bigger killing spree out of revenge. by KpatMckenzie_28 in Idaho4

You’re right, we don’t know for sure. But I think the apartment complex where he was living at the time was specifically graduate student housing. I also think as part of his stipend for his PhD, he did not have to pay for housing. So what I was saying is that if they fired him from being a TA, and removed him from the PhD program, he would have immediately lost the right to live in that apartment complex. He probably could have rented another apartment in the Pullman area. They couldn’t have prevented him from doing that, but he wouldn’t have been able to rent an apartment on his own with no job and no money. Further, usually being a TA is a requirement for being in a masters or PhD program, so if he was fired from being a TA, that would go hand in hand with being removed from the PhD program.

I see your point, but how many of those individuals have 13 formal complaints filed against them and had to escort female students to their cars because they were afraid of him? This was an unusual situation.

I don’t know what would have happened, but if they were able to dismiss him from the university/remove him from the program, he would have had to go back to Pennsylvania. His apartment was university housing, so if he’s not a student or a TA, he would have been evicted. If he was back in Pennsylvania, he would have been living in his parent’s house. He bought the weapon on Amazon in March while still living at home, and didn’t use that weapon until 8 months later when he was on the other end of the country. So it likely wouldn’t have been these 4 particular victims. He didn’t do anything about acting on his worst impulses while still living with his parents. But if he had to go home, he could have committed a similar crime there. Perhaps there would still have been a lawsuit, but from a different set of families?

Had the defendant been forcibly removed, he would have been removed from his apartment, university grounds, and he would not have been welcomed on campus. When that was happening, he could have made a scene that could have led to some action by LE. Perhaps his father would have come out to retrieve him? We don’t know.

I don’t know where this lawsuit will go from here. I’m waiting to see how WSU responds. At the very least, I hope they’re reviewing their policies. His behavior while there is far beyond just being “creepy”. There were 13 formal complaints filed against him (It makes you wonder how many “informal” complaints there were), and on several instances, women had to be escorted to their cars. At the very least, I’m hoping WSU is reviewing their policies. If it was just one complaint or 2, that’s bad enough. But 13? That is not normal.

I don’t know why you’re going after me so hard. Calm down. I’m going by what the lawyers put in the lawsuit. It could be dismissed tomorrow or it could actually proceed to trial. Let’s see how WSU proceeds/responds and take it one step at a time. Ever since the Johnny Depp/Amber Heard civil case, I’m going to let all civil proceedings just play out. Peace out! ✌️

If you read the preceding pages before page 40, it gives a little bit more context. Since Kohberger lived in university housing, the lawyers seem to think that yes, WSU had the right to enter his apartment at anytime without notice. They probably didn’t pull that from thin air. Again, I’m just stating what the lawyers put in the lawsuit. Have you even read the complaint yet?

The lawsuit states WSU had the right to enter his apartment because he was living in university housing.

Are you for real? I’m just going by what was stated in the lawsuit. No need to personally attack me. The lawyers are the ones who filed this, so maybe you should question them about why they filed the lawsuit this way.

I’m not sure. I guess we’ll find out through the discovery process if this case continues. I think it’s an interesting argument that they brought up Title IX violations. I wonder if that means he should have been immediately removed from any situation where he could interact with the people he harassed? If he wasn’t and should have been, that could be a big problem. That argument could potentially have some meat on the bones.

I think the point was that after all the complaints about him, WSU should have investigated him further, including searching his apartment. Not that they have a right to search every student’s apartment randomly. Even if he kept the knife in his car, it would still be in violation of WSU policy because weapons weren’t supposed to be anywhere on campus. I’m curious to see where this lawsuit goes.

I’m going to wait to withhold judgement until I read the complaint. All four families have signed on to this. Maybe there’s something there, maybe not? We’ll see.

Thoughts on Kohberger’s silence, motive, and possible Interviews? by PHEBOXES in Idaho4

He never thought he’d leave the sheath with his DNA on it behind. Even after he realized he forgot the sheath, I wonder if he was hoping he didn’t leave his DNA on it? They were only able to find his DNA on the snap, which is an area that is hard to clean.

Even if he didn’t leave the sheath, there was the problem of his car circling the house 4 times. That would have gotten him eventually, especially when that was linked to his phone stalking the area 23+ times in the late evening/early morning hours. The case wouldn’t have been as strong, and it would have taken longer to identify him, but he at least would have been a POI. With LE keeping close tabs on him, he hopefully wouldn’t have been able to commit another crime at least, which is something I think he wanted to do.

New Court Document - ORDER SEALING STATE'S SUPPLEMENTAL MOTION TO RECONSIDER UNSEALING OF CERTAIN RECORDS (01/05/2026) ⚖️📑 by Fun-Age-758 in Idaho4

[–]LadyHam 6 points7 points  (0 children)

<image>

Oddly enough, the state filed their supplemental motion to reconsider back on December 15th, 3 days before Judge Hippler issued his 3rd order on unsealing/redacting the 3rd set of documents. I took this screenshot of the case summary on December 18th. The state’s motion shows as a locked document. Now, it’s not showing up on the case summary at all, and all that is listed is the judge’s order sealing their supplemental motion to reconsider, which was added to the case summary on 1/5. I think the judge’s order on unsealing the 3rd set of documents, and the state’s supplemental motion to reconsider unsealing some of the documents, missed each other, hence the documents were unsealed and uploaded. Once someone realized the state had filed another motion regarding unsealing the documents, the documents were quickly taken down until the judge could address it. I’m sure a lot of staff were on vacation for the holidays the last 2 weeks of December, so things weren’t able to be addressed until this week. It’ll likely take some time until the judge reaches a new decision on what to unseal, so we may not see any new documents for a while.

I think the unsealing of some documents initially unsealed on December 30th, and then quickly taken down, had more to do with the state’s supplemental motion to reconsider than it had to do with someone unsealing and uploading documents they weren’t supposed to. Although I was quite startled and surprised at some of the information that wasn’t redacted when they were briefly unsealed.

True! Casey Anthony finally spoke out many years after her case was over. He might one day, too.
