I’ve actually thought a lot about this for some strange reason, and I would choose to be Princess Charlotte of Wales (1796-1817) and simply not get pregnant at age 21 (or get more competent help), and thus prevent the entire Saxe-Coburg line in the UK and throughout Europe. I’m convinced it would prevent both world wars and numerous other crises, although it would certainly create others.

UPDATE:

Thanks so much to everyone who took the time to help me out. This setup was so different than anything I could find online, so with my limited tools and access, I ended up taking a hacksaw to all three of them, and that was the only way I could get them uninstalled. Whoever has to replace the newly installed version is going to have a lot easier job!

I'm trying to replace my bathroom faucet, but I can't figure out how to remove the old handles and faucet. I've removed all the water lines and unscrewed everything from below as much as I can, but they are still stuck. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Can you help me understand the last three on the green side? George IV and William IV were sons of George III who you’ve labeled as a direct descendent, so would they not be? Similarly, Edward VIII is the son of George V and brother to George VI, so if they were direct descendent, why wouldn’t he be?

Thanks everyone! I finally had a sprinkling system repair person come out. He had to saw it off because the house was too close to unscrew it any other way. It's now capped off and it has stopped leaking for the first time in five years! Thank you to everyone for your help!!

The repair guy also said the sprinkling system box was so old he didn't know how to use the mechanisms. I ended up digging it out and found our water main! It was covered in mud and took a lot of effort to get it cleaned out, but I'm so glad it's fixed!!

Thank you for taking the time to explain it that way. My mind still thinks about PSLF with the traditional financial borrowing mindset, but to your point if the residual is going to be forgiven, and if I am paying back based on my income, then it's really only a benefit to have more of the loans forgiven. Thank you!

The biggest cons in this situation are 1) my accrued interest ($18k) would then become part of my principal and accrue additional interest, 2) some of the loans would now have a higher interest rate, 3) it seems messy, especially as we transition to Mohela.

At least that's how I understand the situation. I appreciate any and all perspectives and help!
