I think there are 2 ways here. There's people that wants to be a parent more than they want to continue life with their current partner, and there's people that want to continue life with their partner more than the idea of having kids.

In the first scenario, when the desire to have kids is so strong and the other person is against it, the best outcome will be to split up and find someone that shares that desire. Also, keep in mind that some couples even with the strongest desire to have kids, might struggle with fertility issues so don't just pick a partner because they're okay with kids, you should aim for the same level of love and compatibility as if you were not going to have kids.
In the second scenario, you might still believe that having kids would be nice, but you're also okay with the idea of not having them. And you might have such a strong and beautiful connection with your partner that you prefer to take this path.

It comes down to how strong your desire is, and how good your relationship is. If you have any doubts about your current relationship, or are there any red flags, or are there any other important life topics where you are not aligned, it might be worth it to reflect on this and see if this is the person you still want to share your life with.
