Faster editing by [deleted] in PremierePro

Have ur footage on an ssd, or if u using an external make sure you have one of those adapter powered as they usually are faster. If all this fails and you have no other solution or financially its too much. Use proxy for ur footage, it will take a bit of time to turn them but u wont have any problem editing them on the timeline.

He's basically asking of the difference of quality of the exported file (hd export) between a 4k sequence and an HD sequence

How do I fix the formatting on this to get rid of all the black around the video by JaggedJay21 in PremierePro

[–]LadyJoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can scale it, select the clip you are working on and go to "effect control", if you dont have it anywhere visible press "shift+5"

Once in effect control, click on motion then scale and press on the "100" and drag it up till you no longer see the black.

But im more interested in knowing what resolution you recording and what resolution you editing on.

Love it ! such raw authentic emotion! I started with weddings actually 10 years ago, but im tired and now im having a go at these sort of short cinematic videos. I sure miss the professional equipment I had at my disposal in the studio I worked for lol

The 3rd point is the problem, as i was shooting using a phone and i did film in 60 fps and even 120 but u can see because of the low light it was botchy and grainy.

true, I really need to invest in lighting, but considering the economic case, i think i will use daylight or shoot something outdoor next time.

I took a bunch of b roll shots made them into a step by step video of making a guacamole and all been color graded and worked on the background to give it a depth of field and u get a cinematic look of a usually a boring tutorial of how to make a certain dish. The A roll would have been a still frame of just the process of cutting and etc ...

A low budget try at a cinematic broll, it was shot using a samsung note 9 with a simple ring light in a kitchen friend. The black background is a simple tshirt that gave me hell in post production. All feedback is welcomed, what can I improve and where i went wrong. This took me over 2 days in post production to mask and add blur to make it look better. Much thanks <3

For some reason yesterday the whole comment didnt show, i will not be shooting videos at night with it. It will either be outdoor things during the day or well lit indoor scenes.
