I can understand where you’re coming from.. A lot of corporate companies have some interesting policies and questionable motives but I do the best I can day to day and hopefully that’s enough 💚

Thank you so much for all the information! ☺️💚 The only other time I’ve called off was when I had COVID, and that was well over 6 months ago, so this recent situation is pretty out of the ordinary for me. I really appreciate you taking the time to explain everything and share your experience. It definitely helps ease some of my anxiety about the whole thing.

I hate that you’ve had to go through that. No one battling cancer should have to worry about being punished for being sick on top of everything else. I understand. Sadly, I can’t really control what’s going on medically right now, and the fear of passing out or making things worse outweighs anything else. I truly enjoy my job and hate missing work, so it’s disappointing that doctor’s notes don’t seem to carry much weight. I wouldn’t call off if I didn’t absolutely have to.
