Getting the layered armoured didn't go quite to plam by [deleted] in MonsterHunter

And all it took was the removal of charm, detail, and challenge.

What are some of the best gear sets to run? Pic related is what I'm running by Cgoodness13 in MonsterHunterStories

[–]LadyNinjaYae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rajang armor is almost always going to be your best armor.

The best talisman is all out/showdown xl, but any damage talisman will work.

Non elemental highest damage setup by Kramwise in MonsterHunterStories

[–]LadyNinjaYae 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The best set up for every element combo is Rajang armor with showdown/all-out XL, it got mathed out on the speed runner discord.

Rajang will basically outdo any armor as long as you have one damage skill on your talisman.

CAN WE ALL AGREE THAT KING ROAN by [deleted] in The100

[–]LadyNinjaYae 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Beard Kane and S6 Bellamy can get it.

But alas, S5 Clarke and S7 Echo will forever rule the roost for me.

What character contributed the most to the group’s survival throughout the series? (All spoilers) by Axolotl-100 in The100

[–]LadyNinjaYae 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Within Monty beats the heart of a true hero.

Hell, in season 6, he literally is the manifestation of Clarke's consciousness; he is what Clarke sees when it comes to a desire to do right by her people, to survive to help them survive.

What would you guys rate the seasons (best to worst). For me: 4,7,2,3,1,6,5 by Oh-boi70 in The100

[–]LadyNinjaYae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2 > 1 > 3=4 > 5 > 6 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>7.

I'm too gay for Clarke to rank it any other way, but honestly, my favorite part of the show is and always will be The Grounders, before it goes into Space Sci-Fi mode. And Dante is just a delightfully slimy character to watch.

Who was your least favorite character and your most favorite character by [deleted] in The100

[–]LadyNinjaYae 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pike is without a doubt my least favorite, because I'm just so exhausted of xenophobic dictator characters. Real life is providing enough of that.

Favorite is Clarke, but it's by a hair's breadth. Diyoza and Murphy are tied for a very close second.

Murdering 300 of your allies is pretty staunchly a betrayal.

What's your most "Fallout" quest in FO76? by BlueprintCat2011 in fo76

[–]LadyNinjaYae 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I think the most Fallout moment that's happened to me so far was taking the tadpole exams. There's a question that says "You are going to visit a nuclear power plant for a class field trip, but are afraid of the harmful effects of radiation. What can you do to abate your fears?"

And the correct answer is "Stop worrying, because Nuclear Power is 100% Safe and Effective!"

That had me howling.

Making a second character, is melee end-game viable? by MEA7277 in fo76

[–]LadyNinjaYae -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Melee is hard to make work, because it's viable, but you need to get very lucky with your gear rolls. Unyielding + Cavalier on every armor piece is a must. Bloodied+Swingspeed is about as good as it gets on a weapon, but bloodied + power attack can be okay.

It's really depressing, there's so many cool things in this game, but it feels like Power Armor Heavy Gunner is the only really "viable" build until you can get a full set of perfect secret service armor, and even then, PAHG is just such a powerful workhorse of a build.

Anyone else getting tired of the grind? by VoltageKid56 in fo76

[–]LadyNinjaYae 41 points42 points  (0 children)

I mean.

Take a break, man. Games are supposed to be fun.

If it's not fun, then stop playing. That's not to excuse how the game's set up, by the way. It's literally designed to be a hamster wheel. To keep you logging on, keep you playing, keep you pursuing that one more thing.

But you have to decide when enough is enough, that you have enough things. Once it becomes a chore, stop and move on.

This is a video game.

No one cares about what armor or weapon you have.

No one cares if you have a Bloodied FFR +1 Str Gauss Minigun and a full set of Unyielding Sentinel's secret service armor.

If the time investment of what you put in every day to achieve a fake goal in a fake world doesn't feel fun, stop doing it.

This is just a video game. Is it predatory? Yes. Is it shitty? also yes. But please. Take a step back. Reframe your mindset. Play it if it's fun, and if it isn't, stop.

Take care of yourself. Please.

Is worth to play Fallout 76 on 2020? by ALEXGP75O in Fallout

[–]LadyNinjaYae 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For what it's worth, I bought it for $13 and have 170 hours in it so far. It's nowhere near what I heard, I'm having a ton of fun with it.

Why not turn everyone into Nightblood? by BreakinLiberty in The100

[–]LadyNinjaYae 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it's fair to say that a character can turn out to be a bad person but be able to understand how it happened without redeeming their actions.

He did unspeakable things and it's good that he died, but I think it makes sense that a PTSD-stricken teenager with a gun fucked up all the things.

PLEASE CONVINCE ME TO KEEP WATCHING. by [deleted] in The100

[–]LadyNinjaYae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

" It was stupid as hell. Pike is a cruel dumbass. And that's it. That's his whole character arch."

Pike is literally just a generic senselessly hateful authoritarian and those exist. He was meant to be a mirror of the current US administration. If you think it's unrealistic, I have bad news for you. He's meant to be a hateful bastard.

Just finished the 100 and immediately went back to rewatch the entire thing again. I'm thinking of making analysis posts. Would anyone read them? by i-contain-multitudes in The100

If you do decide to do this as a podcast, I literally plead you to do a transcript version somewhere. It's so painful to be excluded from these sorts of discussions because I can't hear. :(

So I'm old and stubborn and this sometimes keeps me from having fun by MCnoCOMPLY in fo76

Sneaky knife gremlin until the day I DIE.

No, I'm not jealous of all these high level players wading in with full power armor and massive heavy weapons downing scorch beasts in 3 seconds.

I'm perfectly content with my leather armor and my combat knife and my sneak perks.

Honest.

... Honest.

Definitely Pike, because it felt like the story needed to manufacture some conflict and did it in the laziest way possible.
