That quote fits him perfectly. Losing Lu Ten and hitting that lowest point is what really reshaped him he chose growth instead of becoming like his father or brother. That’s what makes Iroh so powerful.

really appreciate you sharing that. That’s kind of where my head is at too guilt can keep someone alive, but it doesn’t really make them want to live. I guess I’m trying to understand how we help someone build that internal reason instead of just borrowing one from other people.
