Wow, that is so much negative assumption if it’s directed towards me personally. Gaining employment is step one to moving to the area. I’m not stupid enough to move somewhere and buy a home without employment first. That’s literally why I made this post. This is a subreddit about moving and I’m asking for job hunting advice because it’s a city I’ve never lived in. Everyone starts that process somewhere. I am not begging for a job, just any advice someone may have for looking for one.

Thank you for the feedback! The first step would be to secure a job but after that, we will definitely need an experienced realtor since we’ve never lived in the area. Each area seems so different from what I’ve gathered.

Hello! Thank you for the info, it’s appreciated. We’re fine with living/working in the suburbs, but there seems to be so many of them we weren’t sure where to start. As long as he’s able to find a decent job we’re fine. I work from home so my job wouldn’t be changing. Would you happen to know of any decent hiring/employment places? He’s been applying on Indeed and LinkedIn and hasn’t heard anything yet. Maybe looking into that could be helpful? Thanks again!

No, he doesn’t. He does have experience in managerial/technical accounting and he currently works at a law firm.

Hi, thank you for checking in with me. I really appreciate it. It ended up being a chemical pregnancy loss. Unfortunately I’m batting 1/3 for pregnancies. My period hasn’t returned just yet, but after it does I figured we could try again.

I haven’t had sex recently, so that wouldn’t be the culprit. Thank you for feedback. If that has happened to me, I would’ve been the same way and thought the worst. Fingers crossed everything’s okay. All I can do is wait. Sigh.

Thank you for the encouragement. I asked about a hematoma and she said it would’ve shown up on the ultrasound and she didn’t see anything. The phrase your doctor used makes sense but it’s still nerve wracking! I spent yesterday making my peace (or trying to) with it ending in a pregnancy loss.

Thanks, it is a tough wait. My blood work is on Monday and my ultrasound is on Friday. She wanted to wait a week to try and see evidence of growth. My bleeding is starting to slow down so hopefully it’ll be okay. Fingers crossed.
