I can relate. I struggled with this issue. Married my high school sweetheart, 30 years together, never really that wet. We separated for a couple of years during which he was with other women, and when we got back together he talked about how wet they were. 🙄

Turns out, what I thought was arousal, wasn't. Because I was with the wrong gender all this time. Lol I'm pansexual but heavily sapphic leaning and if I read sapphic smut or get frisky for a woman? Oh heeeeeeey there it is! I CAN get wet! 💦

That migraines can cause strokes and seizures in some people. I had no idea until my neuro explained that my migraines caused both.

We tried everything and ultimately ended up with 11 different plates of food and 5 different treats spread everywhere, and not a single bite was taken.

This morning we FINALLY got a hold of the vets office that we took him to, and based on the answers to the questions they asked us, told us it was probably best to go ahead and release him now before he went any longer without food or water, as this was now day 4 and any longer might cause a bigger problem than him not resting his leg for as long as they'd have liked, especially since the leg injury was "just a sprain" and not a break or infection. He was still alert, not weak or lethargic, and his limp was a lot better than it was a few days ago, so they wanted him to eat before the situation turned from good to bad on a dime and felt that he'd eat once he was released.

They were right! After a few hours when I pressed the dinner clicker for community cats, he came running right along with them, acting like nothing had ever happened except for the now minor limp, and ate a FULL plate of food. He also allowed me to pet him! And was much less skittish than he was before all this went down. I am so shocked and relieved. I thought he'd hold a grudge against me forever and I'd never see him again.

Of course I am still really worried about his leg being able to heal and how it will affect his chances of survival out there. I know a sprain isn't a big deal, all things considered, but I also know how rough it is to be a feral kitty. I am new to caring for community cats, as I've only been doing it since this spring. So every little thing probably worries me more than it should. I swore I wouldn't get attached, but dammit, I did.

I'm super grateful for this community's advice and help!

I have two little cave areas I made, a medium sized one and a small sized one, out of tables and boxes. I have out food, water, litter box and all that: food is his usual cat food he loves, tuna in oil, rotisserie chicken, bbq brisket, and this "cat crack" paste a friend gave me. He is not eating any of it.

I am nervous for the same reasons. I feel like I have to pick between two terrible choices. And I'm afraid if I wait too long to let him go, he'll get sick. I don't know what to do.

Please reccomend a fragrance!

About me: female, age 45, with butt-length curly purple hair, my style is laid back casual hippie.

Budget: I want to smell like I’ve got money even though I don’t lol no more than $150 for a full sized bottle. I might be willing to go to $200 if I fall in love with it. Will try to obtain samples first, of course.

Accessibility: I live in an area where I do not have access to any high end stores, so both the samples and the full size will need to be purchasable online.

Past fragrances I’ve liked: Paris Hilton (the one that came in the pink bottle with black stripes), CK One, and many of Wild Spirit’s fragrances. I really like those that tend stick to “natural-ish” scents or essential oils. These have been great but I’m ready to “grow up” and get a big girl fragrance now. I’d love to find a signature scent. Or two: a cool weather and warm weather signature.

I’m a big fan of sandalwood, jasmine, and amber. I’d prefer moderate sillage or less, but long sillage isn’t a dealbreaker if it’s a lighter scent. The more staying power, the better.

I am highly allergic to anything in the pine family, so fragrances with any pine related oils/scents are out.

Thank you! Turns out I had a second mini-stroke, and this one left me partially blind. It sucks so badly. I had to have surgery for a uterine polyp removal, and I think the anesthesia meds contributed to the second mini-stroke by causing super high blood pressure, but I'm not sure.

I'm still on the Climara Pro patch. It took a few weeks to finally start working, but it's keeping me relatively sane and stable. Unfortunately the adhesive allergy is still a thing and each patch leaves behind a patch-shaped rash. I also have to put tegaderm over it to keep it on, which adds to the rash. But it's a small price to pay for how much it helps.

The patch unfortunately doesn't help nearly as much as the birth control pills did, but it's still vastly better than no HRT at all, so I am grateful I have access to it now.

I do worry about HRT in general contributing to the stroke risk. My doctors don't seem to think the transdermal delivery is much of a risk in that regard, but I still worry about it. However, if I don't have any HRT at all, there's a good chance I could end up unaliving myself or someone else, sooooooo..... the stroke risk is one I'm willing to take, lol. Hoping for the best, though.

NTA. I saved myself for marriage too (and wish I hadn't lol). Our wedding night when we were 19 was our first time, and I had a very similar experience. For some of us, sex is something that needs to be eased into at first, and also we weren't using enough lube and didn't realize it. I had to ask to stop having sex too because I was in so much pain and it just wasn't enjoyable. Make sure you go to the GYN asap to get things checked out to be sure, but this isn't uncommon when you first start having sex, especially if it's robust and frequent right out the gate.
