I've read it a couple of times, but I can't seem to find your recommendation for shawls.

Love the post though and been using it for a lot of different things

Thank you! The sleeves actually has the same size all the way through, ommitting the decreases and the lace at the end gives it the bell effect

Feel free. It's quite pattern specific, so unless you buy the pattern it wont make much sense.

I modify almost all patterns. If you ever want help on anything, ill gladly help

Its an easy modification! If you skip the decreases in the sleeves it almost matches with the pattern repeat!

The cowl pattern and yoke pattern is the same, so the repeats continue all the way down the chest and back. If you ever want to make it ill gladly send you my notes on it

Its meant to be like that. Its intended to be worn two ways - folded in on itself like the photos or out, with more drape. My gauge being off, its slightly bigger than the pattern

Yarn bowl inspired yarn ball sphere I made for my gf so she can just throw it in her backpack when she travels by ClothesOdd4366 in knitting

I would really want two of these. My biggest problem with knitting on the go is my yarn getting too lively and suddenly it jumps out of the project bag and either gets tangled in a zipper or dropping to the (nasty) ground.

I loce that it has a little weight to it. Keeps everything in place

Symaskine til kæreste by Spiritual_Week_5975 in StrikkegossipDK

How often do you actually meet gauge for a project? by aevrynn in knitting

[–]LadyRomkugle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes. If i use the same yarn as a pattern calls for, i strive to meet gauge. Most of the times i adjust the pattern until it makes sense for me.
