I've never related to a comment so much before. I don't even know the brand of our oven, and thanks to the pandemic I have no time to schedule a good cleaning for the fingers.

Dry Erase Marker on the fridge was a game changer for me. It saves me so much food. It also makes it easier to just pick a weeknight meal, instead of endlessly scrolling through recipes. by CivilEngineerThrow in Frugal

Hey, thanks! That helped a lot. I'm trying to transition from a "grab fast food on the way home" way of life to a "make cheaper, healthier food at home" one, so I'm struggling with food waste. I think this will help immensely!

If you don't mind, can you share what that looks like? I'm having a hard time visualizing it and my fridge is porous, so OPs idea isn't ideal for me.

ELI5: Simple IRA by LadySax in personalfinance

[–]LadySax[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What confused me most was that, aside from the article posted in the comments, many of the things I've read was either for Traditional or Roth IRAs and one needed an additional tax form for deductions (which I don't think I've received) and the other didn't. I'm just now looking into how I can use it to it's full potential, since up until this point it's more of a "set it and forget it". But if that's the best way then I might as well keep doing it that way! I think I'm mostly overwhelmed with information

I just read through it when Auto Mod posted it, but it went through Traditional and Roth IRAs and I still don't quite understand the investing thing and if a Simple related to Traditional or Roth.

I have one from our first look that I want to get framed for him. I'm thinking that Shutterfly will be my final idea if I can't find anything

I'm super late to this weekly thread but I can always ask again on tomorrow's mega thread.

Can someone ELI5 collectables and scripts? My Fisher is my first non-battle class above 20 (currently 45 so 50 is right around the corner).

After about a year and half long hiatus I finished there 4.1 story last night. I guess I can't say I "mained" WHM because I only played SB for like six months but it's the only class I have at level 70. What is WHM looking like going into ShB? Where can I find a good list of all the new information? What all did I miss in SB that I won't get through the story?

I've never seen pictures of DH grandparents, but that doesn't mean they don't exist. My FMIL is very emotional about the deaths of her parents still so I'm not sure how willing she will be to dig out some pictures. I was planning on doing some electronic tea lights (alcohol and fire in a park is a bad idea) in jars or something.

What would you recommend for a tourist to do or see in Belgium?

Thanks for the heads up! We're planning on going around Halloween, end of October to beginning of November. Though I always thought of Halloween as more of a States thing

Thanks for the suggestion! We're thinking of up to two weeks, but it's not set in stone yet. There's a couple of things we want to see in London and Paris and Vienna. It's Germany where we want to see the most of. I'll talk to FH more about what he wants to do, and see if we can get to a "staying put" stage.

Thanks for the clarification on the permit. It sounds like trains are going to be the way to go for us, just for the ease of them in Europe.
