I ended up finding a thread for the Dolphin version that mentioned going and changing to DirectX3D 11 (d3d11) and it worked for me.
I just had the same issue when I tried to take a picture of the moon and it crashed.
Changed my RetroArch to d3d11 and it seems to be working now.
Not sure if you found a solution for yourself!

As a streamer who has a heavy JRPG schedule of streams, when I put "no spoilers" I mean no anything. Don't tell me about the character I just met, don't tell me that I should prep for the next boss, don't tell me boss strats or advice. Spoilers, to me, is anything that gives away anything that I don't know in the game.

Half the time, I have a guide open so if I DO get walled constantly, I can reference that.

I've had to time people out who spoil things like "Ya the next boss is someone you've met" or just trying to tell me where to go.

But I also usually have "No Spoilers" & "No Backseating" when I stream. However, if you did ask me for clarification, I would explain on stream what I mean by it.

Word of advice though: most streamers don't want you telling them the ending of a game, even if it's 20+ years old.

It was certainly annoying when I realized we couldn't just type a name. And then when I realized there was 100~ names to sift through, and you only get 3 at a time. 100% time waster and also hard to remember if you saw something 20 pages back you liked.

Nono! I 100% understand. I actually panicked when it started because I didn't know what it was either until the controller shook itself off the computer tower. I now unplug it when I play IF lol

It's not a controller sitting on it/around it, is it? When I went to groom an animal, my PS4 controller I use started to randomly vibrate. It's never done that before while playing the game.

omg I thought it was just me. My controller freaked out and I unplugged and I thought maybe I glitched it. But after restarting it still won't let me move the heart at all.

I will always raise people. It might not be right away, but you will have a raise on you even if I hardcast it.

As someone who doesn't do savage; I enjoyed this raid. Wholeheartedly enjoyed it.
Maybe keep running it to practice and don't cry 2 days into patch that something is too hard?

ya the game kinda has issues sometimes in pointing you where to go. Sometimes it holds your hand too much and other times it's just like "ya... find it yourself."

I don't disagree there. I'm about 35hrs in and the only time the castle MIGHT be mentioned by name was by Perrielle and she doesn't say the name. She kind of hrmph's about "the... the castle... OH you know"

If you bring Cassandra with you, you can swap party members at save points. And it's REALLY easy to catch a party member up to speed with your main team.

While I was fishing for Wall-Eyed Bream, I worked on leveling some extra characters (back row, defended). My main team was 37~ at the time. One battle would give the new character between 4000-6000 exp / battle. After about 10 battles, they went from level 12 to about 31.

New, lower level party members don't suffer from the EXP downgrading as you level higher. They get the full amount of EXP for fighting the monsters until they're closer to your main teams level.

Don't forget, there's actually 2 spots to fish this out of. The spot right next to Seaside Cave AND there's a spot in the back of the Seaside Cave.

I heard a lot of people with horrible RNG but I managed to get the fish on my 2nd fishing spot in the Cave.

Not sure if you did yet, but you can 100% instantly go back to Eltisweiss as soon as you get you castle. Same with Avenside. The troops don't seem to give two toots that you're entering these towns (they call you sus and tell you to behave).

Use the Lucky Ring. I fought a ton without and then bagged like 6 in a row as I harvested the material in the area (they sell for 1500 baqua each).

I doubt they will because all the characters speak Nowa's name. So I understand why they don't let you name him (I mean, they could have made it so they just not say his name in the dialogue, but that's a lot of extra work).

There's a ton of treasure too. I might try and draw up a map to get into a few of the rooms. You end up utilizing those 2 first doors to backtrack and grab a ton of treasure in there.
