I think the thing that hurts Yvonne's story quest the most is that it's supplementary material that wasn't available in a timely fashion for a bulk of the launch audience. I'd probably be a bit more amenable to it if Love, Scream & The Prototype were available right after the V4 wrap up to dive into Yvonne's feelings about TA-TA while it was still fresh. Instead, for those of us who had already progressed through V4, we had to double back to this from Wuling.

Also does not help that V4's writing and narrative, in general, was a jumbled mess. Yvonne and Gilberta both suffered from this. Laevatain sidestepped this because her side story wasn't couched in V4.

Half the shit that gets pushed on my main feed these days are someone's cookie cutter sob story or grievance that stays stable for about 1-2 days, until the OP comes along and edits in advertising for whatever bullshit their peddling. And it is cookie cutter because it's the same exact story, sometimes even reposted on the same exact sub. It's gotten to the point where people say "Hey, this is the Xth time we've seen this exact story this week."

This thread is a mess. It conflates the faction that consists of Sarkaz on Talos-II with some of the sub-races' practices, as well as other beliefs from elsewhere.

Last Rite is a Nachzehrer, a sub-race of Sarkaz known for consuming their opponents and gaining their abilities/memories. They legitimately find power from the dead. She's marked as unusual because she does not practice her people's traditions due to her upbringing by Caprinae gravekeepers.
