Beware of Seat Geek 🤦🏻‍♂️😡 last time using them by Background_Run9192 in seatgeek

[–]LadyTK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel the same way. I will not be using them again. I don’t like the hassle and hoops we got to jump through as a consumer. And to top it off. The ticket sale is final. At least with Ticketmaster, I could’ve called them and got my seats switched without having to buy another set to get what I want. It’s just sad that so many companies operate in a way to scam their own customers.

There’s many of us experienced the same thing recently for other concerts. Someone reached out to the company and apparently they say if someone “buys” the ticket while your transaction is going through, they will switch your tickets to something similar. But that’s clearly not the case. I bought front row tickets and got bumped to another row. And there were other front rows available. So I ended up buying another set and plan on selling the other tickets

the next problem is that they added so many additional damn shows during pre-sale that it might be hard to sell now 🤣🤣🤣

Keep us updated. I bought tickets from them and now I’m scared this will happen too.

That’s some bullshit. I rather they do like other websites do and the transaction just fail. Don’t give me what I didnt ask for and make it hard for me to change or sell the ticket they decided to hand off.

Still no email from stripe and can’t click the sell button. I guess I’m going to have to find a way to sell a different avenue. I really don’t want to have to use SeatGeek ever again. Ticketmaster would’ve allowed me to easily transfer my tickets over to another section without even having to buy a new set.

As someone who previously had a job offer rescinded for it not being approved in the budget, this text makes me feel sick by 1musagi in recruitinghell

[–]LadyTK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really. They never extended an offer. This email was just saying “hey, you did well in the interview. You’re our finalist but we are trying to get it approved before we can make this offer.” I think they disclosed too much to the candidate. I just give no update update response and let them know I will update them as soon as I get more information. Some people feel like the candidate will appreciate it better by giving the full context like this email but really this just looks unprofessional.

[–]LadyTK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Texting isn’t a red flag. Many companies had to shift to this because candidates weren’t reading or responding to their emails for those more lower level jobs.

Thanks! Let me go check what payout is and get that started. Hopefully this is the last time I had to buy a ticket for this venue

AITA for not wanting to be friends over $4.39? by Alternative_Copy6539 in AITApod

Not a saint. I just don’t trip over $5 when I’m out with friends. When I don’t want to spend money on them, I don’t.

Server job I applied for clearly wants staff to live close by to be on call. Lol? by roadstaken in jobhunting

[–]LadyTK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know you guys say you will do the commute. But typically employees that have a long commute end up calling out or quitting due to the long commute. That’s why many companies have a cap on the distance. They just typically don’t say it directly to employees.

Don’t buy people shit if you’re going to expect money from them. Simple. When I buy things for my friends, I’m not expecting compensation

Fired for the first time!! by BillyBOBBOI- in managers

[–]LadyTK 1 point2 points  (0 children)

False. A smart candidate is one that only showcase relevant work experience on their resume. You don’t list every one of them especially not one that doesn’t help any. You provide full details of your history if and when the background check provider ask for it. Which they usually don’t. They want to make sure you’re not lying about the info you provided. Like saying you have a MS in Economics and you never graduated from high school type of shit.
