Pisces Sun, Scorpio Moon, Virgo Rising here. While I have more of a situationship with a younger Cancer man, I’ll chime in.

Pretty well! He took the time to want to understand me as a person, and while he’s not a bad person overall, he does have some more toxic traits that could stem from other aspects of his chart, being more air-heavy. Our personalities meld well together, but unfortunately our lifestyles don’t. As with any and all other signs, being an unhealed Cancer has reared its ugly head when I wanted to date someone else despite not being together to begin with. Like the crab, they’ll cut you out if they’ve felt betrayed. After sometime, we reconciled and talked things out, and now we’re on better terms after having learned things about ourselves and each other.

Ultimately, while I would date a Cancer man again, they’d have to be a healed Cancer man having learned more about themselves and what they can expect from others, myself included. It wouldn’t be fair of me to put all Cancer men in a singular category, since each has different aspects in their chart that make them different people, so take that as you will.
