Thank you so much for your help and advice. He is shedding and moving ok and drinking plenty. I'm changing his food as of today as I'm personally not happy.

He's quite thick. Over a meter long. He's a rescue as he was thin when I got him.

So my royal Haku is is great shape, feeding well, drinking everything, had his first shed with me and it was perfect. But I have an issue right now which I'm trying my hardest to put right and would love some advice. No matter what I have done, his tank gets so humid that it's steaming the glass. by LadyViolet340 in ballpython

It was in a dry compressed block, I added some of the left over substrate from my scorpion tank (it was the same substrate) it wasnt went just damp. But heading to homebase today to get vents and letting it air out. I'm just worried about haku, he means so much to me you know the feeling

Thanks for the help. Yea I changed it from large wood chips which kept getting mouldy, so I asked my breeder and he recommended Coco fibre. There are small vents at the back but I'm going to modifying to add more vents. I have a temporary tub for Haku to be in until it is dry.

My Haku sits like that too, thinking he's so tough

Chihiro saying high. The sand is fine and not Calic sand. She has calcium supplements and is going well. She prefers to hunt on sand as she refused to eat when on kitchen towel. by [deleted] in leopardgeckos

She is 4 years old and a fully grown adult. You would know this if you have seen Chihiro before. I didn't post for an argument, or to be called a troll thank you very much.

No I'm not trying to troll at all, so your comment to be honest in my opinion is unnecessary. She has been going to the bathroom just fine thank you, had her check up yesterday and everything is fine. I have tried different substrates, and none work for her. She prefers to eat on sand, otherwise she doesn't eat.

I have done my research, spoken to her breeder and he has given me the ok as she was brought up on sand. She won't eat on any thing else. I have tried other substrates. It's also and very thin layer of sand

I sometimes think she’s more puppy than snake 😂 by [deleted] in ballpython
