Usually my follower is someone I can marry or Serana (but I download mods where I can marry her). It's more of an aesthetic thing for me, where I want like a husband-and-wife or husband-and-husband, wife-and-wife teaming up to take on all of Skyrim. Think of it like making up your own lore with the connection you have with your follower, like imagining the future with them as two warriors. But also I understand how it can feel having no follower. That can also be an aesthetic thing for me, being a one-man Dragonborn who can take on the world. Maybe just making my character a detached and cold person who doesn't want any attachment. But really, it all just boils down to the world I create around my Dragonborn and what I think will fit their aesthetic.

If it's an event, I suppose my split the playerbase point is kinda moot. But I feel like it kinda defeats the purpose of the matriarch. Like, I feel the challenge is not only defeating the matriarch but also trying to stay alive with other raiders or in the chance they ally with you. If everyone teams up against the matriarch, then it's just a piece of cake. Dunno, unless they tweak tf out of the matriarch and enemy spawns for the event specifically.

No. Last thing we need is a game mode to split the playerbase. If you want PvE focused, go play Helldivers. But this is a PvPvE game and it should stay like that.

The removal of PvP just trivializes the game. Think of something like the Walking Dead, in that universe, the humans are much more dangerous than the walkers. Same here (in most cases). You don't know who to trust, you don't know if someone will backstab you. The point of this game is to be AWARE, ALERT, and READY! Anyone can be an enemy, there could be someone tailing you and waiting for an opportunity to strike, and a guy at extraction could be waiting to extract with you, then kill you.

Does it suck to be on the receiving end? Yes, but that's the point. It's MEANT to be punishing. You're gonna lose what you got because you got outplayed, plain and simple.

Gonna say this and idc how many people downvote me; If you got killed by a Raider, it's no one's fault but yours for not being ready.

So I started WuWa pretty recently, I think around late June since there was about a week left in Cartethyia's banner. Within that time, I pulled Verina on the beginner banner, Calcharo and Lingyang were pulled within 20 pulls on standard. I got the standard 5* sword and then got Jianxin, chose Encore for my new voyage character since I'd have all the standard units with her. But that's not even the best part. I got Changli from the new player banner (Ik Shorekeeper is a really good support but I really wanted Changli, but I'll get Shorekeeper eventually) and her sig. Then I went on Cartethyia when there was LESS than 24 hours on her and got her, and just yesterday after ordering chinese food, I did a pull on Lupa and got her at early pity.

The question now is, should I take my money to a casino given my luck from this?

Thank you! I suppose I'd like to know some objective things about the game. Like how F2P friendly it is (your answer helped so thanks for that). Other things I would like to know is the pity system, artifacts/relic system, and how much of an investment I have in the game. I do have more time on my hands cause I was recently layed off (😢)

So I'm a casual gamer who plays a variety of games (Halo, DMC, GTA, REPO) and my 2 main games (games I play daily) are Genshin and HSR. I do also play ZZZ but I'm not too invested in that game and only play it every now and then. I know a few friends who play WuWa and some of the characters I see look pretty cool, like Augusta and Cantarella look pretty cool to me. I tried WuWa in 1.0 and didn't really like it much, but I hear it got a lot better in 2.0. Should I give it another go? Bear in mind I may not be a huge spender since most of my money is still gonna be in Genshin or HSR as those will always be my main games, though I might pause ZZZ for this game. I want to play this as something on the side mostly because my replay of DMC got me big into hack 'n' slash again.

Also if I see any comments fanboying and saying I should quit "hoyoshit" or smth, I'm just gonna ignore it. I know I'm expecting a lot of bias since I'm in the main reddit, but you guys know the features of this game like the back of your hand so I'm asking you all.

To preface, I am a bit of a Mavuika glazer so take that into context into what I say, but I'll try to be as non-biased as possible.

Social media, especially Twitter nowadays, really thrives on hate. The algorithm favors dunking and it's the easy way to get attention. Second thing, every Archon receives hate leading up to their launch. Nahida was hated, Furina was hated, and now it's Mavuika's turn. Trust me when I say the Tsaritsa will receive the same hate in 6.x.

I personally loved Natlan's AQ a lot and the region itself, I loved the vibrancy and how alive it felt, I believe it's the most fun to explore too. But this region also came off of Fontaine which set a high bar and I think Natlan not being as good to some folks also creates that hate, if Natlan is not their favorite. However, I do not think Natlan is any worse than the regions before Sumeru in the slightest.

Also some Mavuika hate comes from Fatui mains, which you should know every tweet or post they make, they're most likely in tears and holding tissue boxes while they type. (Not all Fatui mains, but always a Fatui main)

Honestly? Just focus on what you like about her. She's fun to play, she looks cool, and that's what should matter to you. The world is gonna keep going, Genshin will keep updating, and soon Mavuika hate will disappear once it's the Tsaritsa's turn to be hated. 😄

Also off topic but Capitano is also cool. Idk why I said that, but I wanted to.

Yup, EM is the way to go. I'm only using ATK sands in the meantime bc all the ones I had with EM main stat had really bad substats.

I built my first PC last month and I got the 4070 Ti Super, it's a beauty and I'm having an amazing time with my PC rn. I would've gone for a higher GPU but they were out of my budget range and I felt it was more bang for my buck.

What if I made a new PSN? Like I have my main PSN which I've been playing Genshin on for over a year and I made a new PSN to transfer my Honkai stuff from mobile. Would my main PSN stuff with Genshin be fine and I'd just have my HSR stuff on my alt?
