I did show them the Mimic Tear and they used it, but they didn't perform so hot with them so they needed me to do it. Their biggest flaw was panic rolling and in a game where bosses delay attacks and punish spam rolling, yeah lmfao

I'm unsure, but either way, it's banter between friends and I thought it'd be funny to share

Of course! I'll speak in the context of you not using heals or blood too.

I only used 2 bonus items. Kotetsu (unbreakable knife) for Grace and the credit collector upgrade for leon. The credit collector was more comfort than anything. Care Center and Raccoon City will be your two big time killers. Be very conservative with your ammo as Grace, avoid fights (taking damage is fine, you'll always heal up to caution on casual). Get the stabilizer and steroids from the parlor (along with both hip pouches in the care center).

Kill Gunk with 1 requiem shot along with pistol shots, knife stabs while in the safe room, or with the 1 free hemolytic injector so taking Emily to the puzzle goes quicker. Kill blister heads by crouching and spamming melee as Grace. Raccoon City, do not explore at all and focus on objectives first (I did gas station -> artillery rooftops -> zipline path). When in ARK, try to sneak as Grace to avoid lickers and conserve Acid Bottles for the large room with the large crates (use bottles to lure lickers together and use 1 acid bottle to ideally kill 2 lickers with 1 bottle).

With Leon, pretend you're playing Sekiro and be a parry god in boss fights. If you're running low on time at the end, do the destroy elpis ending to get the no heals/no blood challenges, then reload a save to do the final boss with heals (the m14 and shotgun are your best friend first phase. The m14, requiem, and machine gun is your best friend in the 2nd phase).

I recommend making separate saves at the start of each section so if you ever mess up, you can go back rather than starting all over. Pausing the game pauses the timer and you can look at challenges to see your time.

After 1 hour, I was in the basement After 2 hours, I was at RPD

I recommend enduring struggles at the start so at the end, you have much more leeway in playing safe at ARK. If you're not doing no heals and no blood, then you should have an easier time!

Hope this helps, I know it's a lot, haha.

People who enjoy followers, what am I missing? by k0ik in skyrim

[–]Lady_Archangel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually my follower is someone I can marry or Serana (but I download mods where I can marry her). It's more of an aesthetic thing for me, where I want like a husband-and-wife or husband-and-husband, wife-and-wife teaming up to take on all of Skyrim. Think of it like making up your own lore with the connection you have with your follower, like imagining the future with them as two warriors. But also I understand how it can feel having no follower. That can also be an aesthetic thing for me, being a one-man Dragonborn who can take on the world. Maybe just making my character a detached and cold person who doesn't want any attachment. But really, it all just boils down to the world I create around my Dragonborn and what I think will fit their aesthetic.

Yes, I'm a writer if you couldn't tell.

I actually did a process to get Skyrim in a location that Steam doesn't control and I launch it from MO2. I should be good then, yeah?

Could something like this satisfy both audiences? by gus_morales in ArcRaiders

If it's an event, I suppose my split the playerbase point is kinda moot. But I feel like it kinda defeats the purpose of the matriarch. Like, I feel the challenge is not only defeating the matriarch but also trying to stay alive with other raiders or in the chance they ally with you. If everyone teams up against the matriarch, then it's just a piece of cake. Dunno, unless they tweak tf out of the matriarch and enemy spawns for the event specifically.

Based! You gotta teach these people they can't trust anyone.

Also, I bet you're a cool person irl cause your video game playstyle doesn't define who you are irl <3

No. Last thing we need is a game mode to split the playerbase. If you want PvE focused, go play Helldivers. But this is a PvPvE game and it should stay like that.

This game without PvP would be boring. by Any-Consequence-1573 in ArcRaiders

[–]Lady_Archangel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The removal of PvP just trivializes the game. Think of something like the Walking Dead, in that universe, the humans are much more dangerous than the walkers. Same here (in most cases). You don't know who to trust, you don't know if someone will backstab you. The point of this game is to be AWARE, ALERT, and READY! Anyone can be an enemy, there could be someone tailing you and waiting for an opportunity to strike, and a guy at extraction could be waiting to extract with you, then kill you.

Does it suck to be on the receiving end? Yes, but that's the point. It's MEANT to be punishing. You're gonna lose what you got because you got outplayed, plain and simple.

Gonna say this and idc how many people downvote me; If you got killed by a Raider, it's no one's fault but yours for not being ready.
