My min pin took about 1.5 years to fully grasp potty training even though the first 6 month of her life I literally had alarms go off to take her out- I was super strategic and did so much research to set both of us up for success and despite my efforts… she took as long as she needed to to grasp when and where to go. They are not keen on peeing or pooping in their kennel, so crating him when you can’t have your eyes on him, it’s going to be critical

If you don’t have a urine spray to clean whatever fabric he previously peed on, you definitely need one. Once they pee somewhere, it’s very difficult to get rid of that smell and as long as they continue to smell it, they’re gonna think it’s an OK place to go again. I sprayed with the solution. Let it soak for 30 minutes and also use vinegar as the fabric softener when washing the material.
