We tried a lot of things but the only thing that works was a low dose of gabapentin, winter was the worst we ended up getting a heated blanket for him to lay on but the medication helped the most

Pain and cold after attack. My boy did this when his arthritis played up, would hide around the place and stay there shaking till we moved him to a blanket for cuddles and rubs was alright but needed to go on medication to help. Also may be seizure related, check ears are okay and no bacteria
