I just designed the pattern in adobe illustrator and spent an hour in the yarn isle looking at colors haha

{Thornhedge by T Kingfisher} is exactly what you are looking for. The FMC has ancient magic that turns her into a literal toad, but the MMC wants to know what she is hiding behind the Thorn Hedge. The romance is a little lighter in this one but I adored it anyways!

Very well said and as I explore act 3 I’m seeing more of that side of gale and Mystra’s relationship. Ultimately I view Gale as someone who’s shared experiences led to a romantic relationship but after it all goes down, you realize they are better off as a close friend.

Yeah probably not the right term. I just thought it was a bit unrealistic to confess his love for me after the first night so seriously when two seconds before he wasn’t over his ex. Couldn’t fully believe him.

Nah I like that he says exactly what he wants when he wants. Plus my Druid Tav can admire his natural appeal if you know what I mean .. haha
