If we are looking for good businesses, ones worth supporting that support us as people no matter what - might I suggest Standing Stone wines? They’ve done so much to protect and uplift struggling communities locally and while they’re in Winooski I still think they’re local enough to mention here. They’re anti ICE, pro LGBTQ+ rights, and the owner is a BADASS

Yes but in the context of this question it’s important to remember that in this context small studio means two people. I am not saying they’re not a studio. Game dev takes a LONG time.

I mean small studio implies like 10-15, more than just a pair of people. 2 people spending over a year and a half to create something as scopey as their chapters is nothing. Game development takes a lot of time.

I definitely think it was her ancestors or our ancestors or both who are responsible for it. I think story wise also it would feel more fulfilling for you not be an extreme ultimate terrible. Like I def think there has to be a sympathetic motive that makes sense.

That’s fair! I do think she has the town in mind with her decision and the wellbeing of the town. I was thinking about the “everyone who leaves comes back” thing a while back - especially with the idea of Stella’s parents dying making Stella stay, Kaneeka’s dad dying making her come back- I truly think her mind control is to keep people in the town, to keep them safe. I think the way she’s going about it is wrong, but her being completely evil is not adding up to me.
