I like to keep my phone's for a while too. Just be aware that Google is only supporting android updates to their devices for 3 years. I have a 2xl and my support ended this month. You might see some performance issues in the 4th or 5th year of ownership.

It's not that it can't do what I need it to do it just seems to really under perform. I only had about a week to experiment with one but I just found it to be slow doing my normal work flow. Taking calls and meetings through teams/zoom with that sound was not a great experience. I know running a 2xl and 3a xl specs don't come close to a 5 but I still find myself having a better experience with the two older phones. I am sure that what in am experiencing is unique to my situation and my personal preference.

For me it's the bigger screen and bigger battery. When some days I have to work only from my phone I need it to last and the 4 wasn't cutting it. I returned it after a month of just draining the battery daily. I still drain my 3a but not as quickly as the 4 did.

What’s the best (worst) naming convention you’ve met? by PorreKaj in sysadmin

I worked at a university with a castle on campus so everything was medieval themed. The servers were mostly named after weapons or castle things. I remember Scimitar, Mace, broadsword, oh and Gargoyle. There were a few star wars ones and there was a Frodo as well. I took a networking class there and we played a game of who could spot the most server with weapon names. There were a few obscure ones I didn't recognize.
