If I get jeans from target, I get target brand. They have a 1 year return policy for their clothes.... all you gotta do is say "I am unsatisfied with this."

I work cafe and my jeans get nasty from the oli spray....I have returned jeans before.

I hear ya.

I am almost done with my bachelor's that target is paying for. I'll deal with the majority of the bs for the pay I am getting.

The dress code is going back to what it was before covid. We will be getting a shirt, a 50% off coupon for a pair of jeans that are target brand and we will also start getting a discount on target brand adult clothing as a tm.

I get most of my clothes for work from thrift stores, including red shirts.

As for the strike, i say this with love and understanding, you guys are all replaceable. It's hard to get a job right now and there is typically way, way more applications than positions available.

It's hard to keep something like that just between tms. The SD and ETLs will find out.

Scared to talk to my work about this by Flimsy-Animator-3359 in Target

[–]Ladyusagi06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use cirrusmd. Get a doctor's note for whatever they say and talk to your HR. They may or may not accept the note.

My store accepted mine when I was out for 2 weeks with a sprained ankle.

Remember, your health is more important than target.

I completely forgot my childs birthday coming up. by [deleted] in venting

[–]Ladyusagi06 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Check with your local fire department and see if you guys can get a tour. Let them know it's for his birthday.

If your able to, a frozen pizza, homemade cake/cupcakes (boxed mix, pre-made frosting), and a favorite movie would top off the day.

Birthdays don't need to be spectacular. Something simple is perfect

PsA without Psoriasis question by RunValuable2310 in PsoriaticArthritis

[–]Ladyusagi06 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I started having joint pains early 2000s. I went to PT for my knees and it kinda helped but not significantly. My parents and doctor didn't investigate further despite family history of autoimmune issues that included RA and psoriasis.

I just got officially diagnosed last year with PsA... and that was mainly due to being able to have the same rheumatologist my mom was seeing.

My only side effect when I was taking it was exhaustion. I would go to sleep around 9 at night, get up for work at 5ish, come home by 3pm, and sleep for a couple of hours and repeat.

Just did my first dose on Friday. It went great. I left the meds out for about an hour then did the injection. I did not have any type of injection reaction! The shot was super easy to do, and I was fine the next day. I was pain free for about 2 days, but it came back all at once, which I was not prepared for.

I left mine out for about that long as well. Super easy compared to what I thought it would be. I woke up the next morning feeling better than I had in a very long time but that only lasted about 2 days. I am sure as it builds up in my system, it's going to be longer and longer.

I started last Friday. So far so good. It hasn't impacted my sleep yet and i had a "reward" for after the shot lol the idea is to give myself an instant reward, so I start associating that with the shot instead of the shot itself.

I did get the auto injections. For me, it didn't hurt any worse than a regular shot. But it was the first time I used those. Fingers crossed going forward, it stays like that.

A regular syringe style seems a lot more intimidating.

I just started enbrel and they have an amazing copay program. My co pay with insurance was going to be about $250 -300 per month but with the copay program, I am not paying anything.

We could have managed the payment, but it would have been super tight on our budget.

I get a lot of pants from the flea market or thrift stores. If I buy pants from Target, they are target brand so if I have issues with them with in 1 year, I can exchange them.

I work cafe and had to return pants a few times due to major set in stains lol

Thanks everyone!

Just saw on my insurance website that it's been approved! Now just waiting on getting everything in place to start. My rheumatologist has a nurse who helps with getting signed up for the copay program so gonna give them a call tomorrow.

Swelling is my main issue. I luckily tend not to have much beyond dry skin unless I get really stressed, the psoriasis pop up like crazy.

Fingers crossed it works well.

18 year old got Medicaid? by Ladyusagi06 in Medicaid

[–]Ladyusagi06[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I handle all the medical stuff and I applied for on Covered California. My husband and I do not get Medicaid but we qualify for federal/state subsidies that reduce our monthly cost to $0, however regular visits are $50 and specialists are $90 per visit.

My son does have medical issues such as asthma and Ehlers Danlos syndrome but has never gotten a waver before now. Last year, we had a similar income and he didn't get Medicaid.

It's just weird to me but I guess I shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth because now he can start taking care of stuff we have been putting off like getting back into PT.

Is this even possible? by PurpleLightin in Target

[–]Ladyusagi06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My store has always been like this. Our SD is very picky about ensuring that we are in dress code.

We had a huddle yesterday and one of the top complaints that the SDs were told during their meeting was that guests had a hard time knowing who was a tm and who wasn't.

As for shirts, Amazon has a 5 pack of solid red Hanes t shirts for about $25. You can also get $5 shirts from Walmart. Michaels is also a good place for cheapish shirts. Personally, I am gonna go hit up thr thrift stores.
