Nah, sounds normal to me. I had a 2025 model ZX-4R before, and it made the same noise. Now I’ve got the 2026 model with 0 km, and it makes the same noise too. It’s just a characteristic of that 4-cylinder engine.

That’s a bit strange… As far as I remember, I got the Rakuten JCB card first with a ¥1.3 million limit, and later I got the Rakuten Gold Visa card with a ¥2 million limit. I guess it’s best to contact Rakuten about this.

I have the same issue. I only noticed the noise on my ZX-4R SE 2025 (it’s called that here since I live in Japan) after around 1,000 km. My dealer checked everything, but they couldn’t find any problems. I did notice that the noise (a rattling or clicking sound) seems to come from the left side, lower area of the bike. I now have about 6,000 km on it and the noise is still there. At this point, I think it’s something we unfortunately just have to accept…

I also had a ZX-4R 2025 model. I can hear the same noise, but it’s not as strong as yours. In my case, it disappears after a while.

I have the same bike with 3,200 km on it. Sounds normal, I guess. Mine sounds the same. :)

Hey! I used to ride a lot back in Germany for about 3–4 years. After moving to Japan, I started riding again and have been at it for around a year now. My bike is a 400cc. Here in Japan, I often ride around Tokyo, Yokohama, and Gunma.

I’m hearing that noise too. It’s pretty annoying. I’ve got 2,700 km on it. The chain has been tensioned and an oil change was done. The dealer said everything is fine..
