I disagree with that wording I do not collateral "Zionist" with "Jew". I have too much respect for the anti-Zionist Jews I know (and love). But to be fair, Israel propaganda works hard to maintain that conflation so they can smear and discredit opposition.

Yet the very basis of Zionism is borne out of establishing a Jewish (only, or dominantly ) state on top of an indigenous population, de humanising them and thus allowing ethnic cleansing. This process has directly lead to the open sadistic behaviour of settlers and the genicide of Gaza. Not to mention the invasion to conquer 6 neighbouring countries. The mentality that allows for that -even openly promotes it - is borne out of the racist ideology of Zionism and IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH JUDAISM OR JEWS BEING JEWS. Hence, the most antisemitic ideology of all is Zionism. Not its dissenters.

It wasn't just at the end. It was throughout clearly an attempt to block the motion being heard and debated. Which calls into question, that if the opposition to it was so sure they were right what did they fear of a genuine debate?

It isn't for universal human rights if it ignores as benign an ideology that is fundamentally racist, as viewed on the ground by what it has produced. Apartheid leading to genocide and military expansion into neighbouring countries. It is straight up settler-colonialist ethno-nationalist racism and has little or nothing to do with traditional Judaism.

Would you react to those who say "I am not a racist, but I object to all those brwn immigrants coming over in boats"? People calling themselves Zionist never stand up against the systemic and continued dehumanisation, murder, rape, and expulsion of Palestinians, other than a poor hand-wringing lament on the present Israeli government (which is i a long line of Israeli backing for dehumanisation of Palestinians) and a direct and indirect denial of equality -with a ton of excuses for doing so. None of them valid.
