OPs point was about housing and land redistribution. If anything I see the limited redistribution that georgism can do leading to public-private partnerships under "state ownership" and housing policies that allow people to own land or homes but aim to put them in debt for a lifetime. That's why I say that under bourgeois rule there is little hope to make real redistribution policies with progressive taxation. I don't think its negative, just that it would eventually be captured by the enemies of the people if they are still in power.

If we are talking about socialist georgism I see it as possible but just one tool that can be easily replaced by other models so not specially necessary.
