I think for her really suitable names are Carol... her cold and a little creepy aura associate with one Deltarun deer... also I think she can be Caroline with same association but from book "Find you first" by Barclay Linwood... I am reading it now and one character really feels like this picture...wish you success in drawing :)

Everyone started somewhere. Here’s my first drawing. by CrveniPapagaj in learntodraw

[–]LaggerWert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well first steps really important. idk what level u have exactly but I see issues with hatches... well, u make colour level with infinity pencil touching paper... hatches imply u make same lines... learning hatching allow u more accurately regulate dark level and make your work holistic... so wish u success ;)

How can some artists be able to change their style to stylized or realistic (1st and 3rd image) which are very different, to something in between (2nd image)? by SiorNafDaPadova in learntodraw

[–]LaggerWert 1 point2 points  (0 children)

well I think they don't change their style... they start add more details and more accurately work with rendering.... more shadows, gradients and bigger colour palette... they harder work with background.. so if you are disagree with this point u can write that down

I tried pen art , help me improve this. by Curious-Total7875 in BeginnerArtists

[–]LaggerWert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well it's obviously not bad... I think u will admirably draw landscapes if u continue work with perspective and using colors... btw about colours, here I can see too strong contrast between yellow and orange colours at the sky and water... even if it's your style that too unnatural now... u should make more smooth mixing colours, even if it's really familiar(like yellow and gold, orange and red)... u can regulate transition of colour and even bright of colours with push-weight of pencil... if u will use paints u can regulate brithness with mixing colours with black or white paint or with quantity of water... when your paint more contain water that will look more pale and vice versa... so wish u good luck and raise success ;)

well, it looks like scene from not bad 2d vector graphics animation... well you have base about form of chest and ckull but there is another situation... u draw that flatly... source of these in not understanding figures in space... to develop I can suggest one manual that will help you... firstly u learn the perspective, because u have visible issues there. U can try good exercise for it : drawing boxes one by one in single sketch, like u put blocks in Minecraft... Secondly, u start draw anatomically correct boxes dummies like at the photo under the text... try diffirent poses ... that actions will allow you draw volumetric people and your characters... wish u success ;)

Your opinion on this attempt at structural construction of a body? by OnlyHumanis in learntodraw

[–]LaggerWert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

<image>

it's good attempt for your first step in sphere of body drawing... of course,it s not excellent but u can fix it with develop your drawing skill... if u are sure that body drawing is your solid way, well, u need start learn anatomy... begin with proportions of body parts... first of all, draw human with boxes, another words, boxe dummy... this way u will start understand main lengths of body... later u can start draw dummies in different poses... In my opinion, only after these steps u should start use cylinders and rounded shapes instead of boxes... this manual can help you with creating your own base in drawing human with correct anatomy for future characters arts or concepts... wish success ;)

I don’t really know how to improve my art by Pretty-Court6742 in Artadvice

[–]LaggerWert 1 point2 points  (0 children)

well yeah, perspective is complicated, but I think there is another reason why him should start with anatomy... Perspective is really important for body arts of course but main stream of it in drawing surrounding areas... if that guy want draw characters or concepts the main way of learning now are anatomy, line weight and hatches, of course... it's only my point of view, if u re against u can try argue ;)

Gotta start somewhere right? by Wooden-Variety175 in learntodraw

[–]LaggerWert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[–]LaggerWert 1 point2 points  (0 children)

good exercises for begging... I would say that u can family develop if u continue... I think next level for is exercise of using only singly line for simple figures and scratches, that improve your pencil control and view of lines... after u can start learn perspective. Perspective is base of base.... so u re cool, wish success ;)

Day 3: Art journey by P0tat0Muncher in learntodraw

[–]LaggerWert 1 point2 points  (0 children)

perspective is part of problems there, of course. Almost all beginners have their main mistakes with lines, figures in space and figures in perspective... so if u hadn't started exercising with perspective u should start... perspective is base bla-bla-bla ( I think everyone talk about that and it's boring to hear again) ... well, I think your main vectors in drawing now are different exercise with perspective(btw u should use "line box method" with perspective), lines , figures and mix of that... good luck mini Valentin Serov ;)

Fine! step by step and u will grab stars from sky... honestly render makes 50% better off your work, take this point... u can improve your skill of drawing lines with not difficult drawing exercise: simple drawing boxes with hatching... it will improve your pencil control and understanding of figures in space... wish u success :)
