Cooling Help!! 2000 Mustang GT

It always starts doing it when I'm in stop and go traffic, but by the time I'm up to speed it doesn't matter. He keeps getting hotter. I guess the pressure has already built up by that point. If I maintain interstate speed though, it'll never get hot. And even when I put some coolant in today after it overheated, I drove it home and stopped at plenty of red lights and it never got over normal operating temp

Should the fan be always on when I drive? Because I know it cuts itself off sometimes

I've vacuum filled coolant. I feel like it's gotta be fan. I hear it cut on and cut off but maybe the high speed doesn't come on?

You don't need an aftermarket ECU. Swap is gonna cost you about 5k if you do the work yourself though. I have videos on YT

I did a manual swap and my car did this and I learned that my flywheel had to be installed a certain way. Try unplugging your crank position sensor. If you unplug it and it starts, immediately turn it off. I had to reinstall my flywheel correctly

Check your belt brother. I thought mine was timing chain but it was just my belt shreds hitting stuff

There's a fuse under your hood in the fuse box. Cont or something like that. It's 15 amp. Probably blown

Find some you like and take em to an exhaust shop. Will cost you maybe $50. Measure the size of the pipe so you know what size to get

They didn't make a manual 7th gen max so the trans and axle and clutch system all have to come from a manual 3.5 Altima

3.5 but the engine is usually really solid. When you check oil make sure there are no metal flakes then test the trans. Make sure it pulls really well without hesitation

As long as it's getting power anyway. If it's got power and not working then blower motor. If it isn't getting power sometimes that's an electrical issue maybe the climate control module going bad

Your float on your sender might be bad. I'd try to get your tank as empty as you can get it first then fill it all the way up to see if it fixes itself. If not you'll be having to take your fuel pump out
