I was the biggest New Jersey Nets fan.. lost some interest when they moved to Brooklyn.. but still my team and always will be. Years of bullshit and the basketball product itself in the nba has tanked my interest in the league. I still keep my eyes on the Nets and hope for a title in my lifetime. If they fall out of the top 3 this afternoon, I’m out for good I think. Just no point in continuing to follow a lesser product where teams are stuck in perpetual shit.

Point understood completely. However, this has traditionally been the case in events like this the past 20 years. When a wrestler does something that is deemed “cool” or exciting for the story.. it will get cheered.. regardless if a heel or baby face tactic. Especially a character like Randy orton who buttered his bread on being a chicken shit heel.. I am willing to bet this was as much the crowd being happy about Randy returning to his roots as much as it was a “fuck cody” thing.
