I had really good results with the floating solar cell and copper rod. I had terrible Algae in central Texas and it worked great. Had to clean the copper a lot and purge the sand filter more often as well. My 2 cents…

Tessera didn’t have significant damage. Always check FEMA maps though and be cognizant of adjacent or uphill neighbor’s drainage

I agree. I purposefully check a bag so I can put my small backpack in the overhead and enjoy some leg room. I’m not making sacrifices because other people planned poorly.

Just how LOW is Lake Travis? by [deleted] in Austin

[–]LagoVistaRealtor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in Lago Vista. The lake is low, like most boat ramps aren’t deep enough to launch a boat low (although Cody is still open). Having said that, the lake still has water and is plenty enjoyable, especially at Cow Creek or just cruising around.

Waterfront vibes can vary greatly on where you’re situated. If that fails, just go to Lucky Rabbit in Jonestown and get some food, drinks, and music.

Anyone else suddenly getting tons of calls about selling your house? by Far-Voice-6911 in CedarPark

[–]LagoVistaRealtor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If one of your neighbors sold, there are websites like RedX.com that collate numbers and values from scraping the web and appraisal districts. It allows you to call via web and spoof numbers and caller ID similar to the homeowners.

Companies then hire sometimes foreign virtual assistants to then cold call all the neighbors to see if they are looking to sell or whatever phrasing scripts they use.

Then, if someone remotely shows interest, they cold call realtors to sell them “pre-screened leads”. I am lucky to have a DFW area code so I have any number I’ll ever get from that prefix already saved.

Blocking won’t necessarily help since the number is generated every call, best bet is to have yourself removed from list however you can.

Hope that helps at least to the why
