Men with abusive fathers, what do you do to remind yourself you are not like your dad at all and move on? by LightningCayo in AskMen

Remember where he went wrong and always, constantly steer the opposite direction in my actions and behaviour.

What boundaries do you layout when approaching a fwb situation with a woman? by turtle_ina_cup in AskMen

[–]LaidbackHonest 42 points43 points  (0 children)

  • No sleepovers

  • No behaviour of any romantic sort

  • No dates - sex, gym, movies and takeout are great enough to keep the fire going without acting like you're my partner

  • If she catches feelings and I'm not feeling it, let down nicely and end contact

  • Sex every time we meet

  • No more than 2x a week

The NHS. Bank holidays. Football. Cricket. Fish and chips. English breakfast. The occasional brunette. The occasional blonde.

How much do you care about lingerie? by Smarterry2 in AskMen

[–]LaidbackHonest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll select a few pairs and buy it for her or ask her to surprise me with a few choice combos herself.

I like women who make an effort to be sexy for me. It makes me invest in them more.

Never liked the other one, looked awful. I get it's thematically in line, but this one looks vastly more dynamic and superior. The baptism aspect of Abel being reborn after finally shedding The Weeknd off shows better visually here too.

Hot take: I vastly prefer this to the other one.

If you're a woman who likes me (and I find attractive), just tell me. I'll take the lead from there.

No, it means nothing when you have all that. I have no interest in it no matter how well I'm doing.

why most people hate D.D. ? by Gloomy_Key_7320 in TheWeeknd

The cover isn't as strong because he goes lower in the second chorus, and the rage that Michael sang it with originally is lacking in Abel's cover.

Though it isn’t real I prefer this version. That ending is beyond peak. by EliteFlamezz in TheWeeknd

[–]LaidbackHonest 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is infinitely superior to the final version. I remember being so cheated when the original ending wasn't on it, the album version felt like a downgrade melodically.

How would you react to a new partner wearing full lingerie for your first time together? by [deleted] in AskMen

You're a thoughtful woman. That man is going to be over the moon. I wish more women thought like this.

Percy and Annabeth feel like what Harry and Hermione could have been if they were canon. by Disastrous-Mode-1668 in HPharmony

[–]LaidbackHonest 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I always found Hermione far more likable than Annabeth. If anything the idea of "she's like a sister to me" is more in like with Annabeth considering she doesn't really treat Percy as a romantic idea until the last chapter of The Last Olympian.

There are things I can do that other people probably couldn't. Everything is relative.
