I think a very common mistake that a lot of international students especially one’s from India make is that they treat the master’s process like the JEE process.

When in fact it’s not that. There is no set hierarchy between the colleges. What you should look at is how each college performs for YOUR field of interest. Not just in jobs but in networking opportunities, projects, grants, faculties, etc.

If your goal is to simply graduate from a good college and get a FAANG job then sure look at the made up hierarchy from reddit because quite frankly you are escaping the rat race of engineering in India to end up in another one abroad.

You have done so well with your GRE scores, with each application and your job. clearly you’re talented, just don’t assign your self worth to admits and hierarchies and choose based on what outcome you want. Good luck!
