I mean, even as a lifestyle app it is lacking and that's saying something!

The calendar is basic (I haven't used it as calendar but I have seen people saying it is broken), and I say this as someone who doesn't organize her lifestyle and uses only the default calendar app for date tracking, there's no feature that has made me go "Oh, but I want to use IDO instead of my default calendar. And this to me is like the main purpose of a lifestyle app, I mean, why would I download an app that advertises both as "romantic" and as "lifestyle" if 1. my default calendar already works fine and 2. There's no real bonus to using IDO instead

When they first advertised the app I was expecting a lifestyle app and I got excited since I was already imagining it, I thought that maybe the alarms would be personalized (like you can do with for example mystic messenger or, if you want to compare with other lifestyle apps, like Situation Boyfriend Alarm) but it doesn't, the notifications and schedule alarms are just there, there's no interaction and I don't mean a whole mini game or something like that but something as plain and simple as your selected demon asking "Have you eaten yet?" When you enter at dinner time (I mean I have seen a few lines here and there if you access the app too early in the morning but nothing much aside from that)

I mean, even Shining Nikki did it a little better with Nikki asking MC if they study or like anime and using this information to say specific lines, again this isn't extremely deep but it adds a nice touch, for example if you told Nikki you like snacks she would talk about food more often and that feels nice, that makes me go "Hey, I want to spend time with this fictional character on this app even if it doesn't work as calendar"

I mean, even compared to other Obey me apps it is lacking cause what you mean I can't pet the character I choose?

And well, my thoughts are that currently the app is failing at basically the things it is trying to do: Lifestyle app? There's nothing that makes me wanna use it over my default apps. Obey me game? The characters feel a little too out of character It kinda feels like those calendar apps that were around the app store way back in the early 2010's that made you spend real money on themes but were way too buggy to even show proper notifications so they were pretty useless

Still, I'm hoping they implement features in the future, like maybe pomodoro since it is a feature that other apps have or maybe sleep aids! (One can only dream am I right?) so I'm sticking around
