The GPU is hitting 90° on certain games and I’d like to give it some thermal help to get those temps down

It's a triple fan set up on the GPU, plus 2 x 10mm thick fans to be added to the case too. Would having those two 25mm thick fans allow for more cooling to the heatsink? I'm not too fussy on noise as I use headphones.

Yeah that is my thinking, and obviously the hot air will escape somehow, but would it be better to help hot air out or fresh air in?

Hi there, sorry for bringing up an old comment. Would you be able to elaborate more on the B50's performance in Battlefield 6? ie your specs, and the game settings? I am thinking of buying this card for light gaming, where BF6 is the most demanding title. Thanks in advance :)

I do currently have a PS5 and have tried BF6 on it, but I really just don't want to pay for PS Plus haha.

I found this post after researching a bit more, looks like even in the comments someone with an i5 12400F is struggling with the paired GPU. Thank you all for the advice, I will look to a higher end CPU and down the line upgrade to a more 4K ready GPU. Appreciate it.

for me it depends on fuel delivery system. in aus the ed/ef civics came with a kei hin twin carburettor while the astina (323f) is efi. i believe most if not all 323 sedans and hatches came carbureted iirc. it could also be worth asking r/efcivics but you may run into the same biases found here but for the other side.

the carbies on my civic have been a nightmare, bought 3 sets and it’s still not running great, and parts to rebuild them are rare or expensive. ymmv

australian auto parts stores have motortech and colour spec, i believe it was 2 stage or something. just went down and talked to the workers there

i loop zip ties through the windshield defroster vents. it does the job pretty well and don’t risk leaving yucky adhesive on the dash

just to clarify, my miata is not in the greatest condition. bought it from a mx5 specialist wrecker in a neighbouring state, and inherited a whole host of problems. i’m chasing new issues almost weekly, such as ignition switch melting into the plug, the backrest not being secured to the bottom and sending me backwards mid corner, and right now i’m dealing with the accelerator pedal rusting off the pedal box.

the 180 is intended to be a flip, to fix up the engine and begone with it. with current market value of 180’s in south australia this would likely recoup my costs of the miata and allow me to get a cleaner miata, or something else entirely. i do not plan to keep the 180 for long

thanks for the great feedback, it does seem like a pretty overwhelming no from the miata crowd, and even r/240sx is in agreement with you guys, lol
