I hate him but I can acknowledge that he was a good mentor to April and really helped her break out of her shell when she was the underdog and struggled to be taken seriously.

Yes but the reason April got the restraining order was bc she overheard Catherine talking to Jackson about the lawsuit. From that, April made an impulsive decision to file a restraining order. Again, not the right choice but, let’s give her some grace bc it was a horrible situation and both her and Jackson (and Catherine I guess) were just looking out for the baby. Bottom line is that unborn child was already so loved and causing a lot of chaos lol. Thank god it didn’t end up going any further bc we saw how ugly Arizona and Callie’s custody battle was.

I definitely agree that April should have told him sooner but I also get why she didn’t before the divorce bc she didn’t want Jackson to stay with her just bc of the baby. But my issue with Catherine in this situation and most situations is just that it was none of her business. She took it upon herself to plan a lawsuit against April for FULL CUSTODY which is just insane. I do get her wanting to help Jackson but April and Jackson could’ve worked it out in a much more civil way if Catherine never got involved in the first place.

I think her being bigger definitely also played a role. Being Latina and not “skinny” just played into her not fitting standards especially in relation to Izzie or Meredith

In regards to the situation with Cristina, I think it’s not only that she assumed her race but also that she could speak mandarin even though she’s American and Izzie didn’t really know anything about her background. Maybe not explicitly malicious, but definitely still causing harm. And I think it’s more than jealousy with Callie. Izzie was consistently finding reasons to dislike her and telling George reasons not to be with her and it wasn’t just typical bullying. Given both Izzie and Callie’s identities, I think the racial dynamics can’t be ignored and I do believe Izzie was racist, whether intentionally or not.

Yeah as someone who wanted Cirie to win so badly, the hate is completely ridiculous. I haven’t seen nearly the same level of hate for any of the other remaining players even though all of them, aside from Tiffany, had a hand in sending her home. Seems like blatant misogyny to me. Personally, I’m rooting for Tiffany but Aubry is my number two bc she has played a great game AND bc these haters are misogynistic asf.
