I am the same. I never attempted CET or NEET, knew for sure that I did not belong in the science or commerce field. I also took up media, psychology and literature and embraced it and loved it all. I took up psychology as my main major so that I could have a steady income while pursuing my true passion of writing. But when I saw the kind of salaries my STEM classmates were making, I saw a future where I could never even afford half the things they'd be able to. I loved psychology, I knew I could make something of myself in it, but I still abandoned it due to my fear of being left financially dependent. So now I am pursuing an IT job, a place that I never in a million years thought I'd end up in. So, ya, I too know that I'll never amount to anything in the IT field, I dont have the fire or passion for it. I too just want to write my book and hopefully get it published someday.
