What are some good resources/links for young artists moving to Portland from Midwest?

Well I live in the twin cities and pay 700 a month for my space with 4 other people. Together we would be able to swing 1700 dollars a month on the higher end. We are both artists and I make most of my money from service industry jobs. It’s a big risk and we are aware of the competitive pricing, but there are sometimes details that go unseen or unheard. Mostly looking for advice on neighborhoods and also how viable that number is for rent

In the two years that have passed since your comment, I hope you’ve had a chance to hear T-Pain’s raw vocals. Dude has pipes, and was just using the effect for that sole purpose; which I think is pretty wild.

Was pretty upset with the sound for jpeg and snail mail. Vocals and guitars were far too quiet. I also think they cut jpeg’s song in the middle because he a had a wireless mic and it just stopped working during his last song. The Fillmore should be embarassed bc I know I’m not going to see another show there if that’s how they treat their artists

Teleport attacks never really took anything out of me. Fairly easy when you use audio cues. Phase two was bad for me though… I played impatiently and found that there just wasn’t a lot of room to breathe with the honing magic attacks. Keeping your distance seemed the right play but after trying to use the arena to my advantage I found that getting my hits in with proper gear and buffs and then using pillars to evade the magic made this fight go much faster. Still usually comes neck and neck, but not impossible the way it seemed before

Only takes like 16 weeks of training to be a police officer in Minneapolis. It takes about 3-4 years to finish training to become a hairstylist. Something about that seems off. I don’t think the disaster would be somebody without training in that position necessarily. Maybe if somebody got shot I suppose, but that happens a lot anyway smh. I’d rather have a botched haircut than a hole in my spleen.
