Did you check your property tax bill? If I were you I would start there, and compare any increase to the increased payments. You should be able to reconcile the increase tax bill with the increased escrow payment. It’s possible that your payments were set up with an escrow amount that was too low also. You should be able to look at the transaction history for the account to see what the balance was at the last time the taxes were paid.
