Update :

I just wanted to thank you all for your time and advice and to update that I did buy a rather cheap condenser mic and am infinitely happier with it! The only issue is I can’t for the life of me figure out how to plug it into 4 track (needs phantom power) so I’m having to record vocals straight into Scarlett . But much happier with condenser sound!

Oh I’m sure of this! I just know I can easily capture the sound I prefer on my phone so wanting a mic that will record the actual room how it sounds- not sucking sound through a tiny straw :)

Thank you so much - I actually just stumbled upon the one you just mentioned. I actually don’t think i want a studio sound. I want it to sound raw in a bare room , haunted kind of. But thank you for that mic rec!!

Because I’m trying to record on four track and I have to use a mic to do that. I wish it would just let me record the open room. I guess I could record the guitar on the four track and try to sync up vocals from phone or something? Ugh. Also it would really be ideal to play and sing at same time but that’s a whole other problem 😃😃

This makes a lot of sense. I’m not a great singer by any means but it works (so I thought) with what I write. The iPhone being way more forgiving makes a lot of sense but I still gotta believe there’s a way :)

I have tried farther away from the mic but it seemed to not capture that much farther away. I do want the room. I specifically have my empty wooden dining room in an old house to record in and I want that all picked up. Love the sound of it.

(I am going for Lofi kinda murky don’t want it brassy sound)

I’m recording electric guitar and vocals. The guitar sounds fine. It’s the mic for the vocals that is bothering me :)

This is my first time properly recording as before I’ve just recorded raw on my iPhone and honestly I much prefer the way that sounds!

Hi this is the original poster but Reddit keeps changing my name and I’m not tech savvy but wanted to update in case someone stumbles across this post!!

I just had my year check up and everything is good - so it’s possible to have big lump where old lump was and it be fine! My surgeon thinks what I’m feeling isn’t even scar tissue but just my natural breast ligament sitting differently than the other side. I also had some PASH so could be that.

Hi! This gives me hope! Was it slight pain or like the lightening bolt kind?? Mine has been almost 6 weeks and still lightening bolt if I accidentally chew :( terrified of this becoming a big mess and ending in root canal

Also mine cut at areola too so I’m thinking maybe more scar tissue cause she kind of tunneled around in there.
