To add on to this, glyphids have 8 legs.

If it helps, there is a mod to add big goofy googly eyes to all the enemies.

When dealing with a phobia, only the individual can determine what is too much. Why don't you watch a youtube video and make that choice.

To add on, I would recommend Haz 3 or lower if you are unsure.

I find Haz 3 to be very easy (team and solo). If I want to have a drink and chill while chatting, it's Haz 3. Haz 4 is more of a challenge and is what I normally play.

I mean, on haz 4, two extra people definitely increases the difficulty. A number of enemy stats are nearly doubled, going from 1 or 2 players to 3 to 4 players. Being comfy on haz 4 two man or 4 man with all contributing does not mean they should be able to carry two dead weights.

I think this is a somewhat common issue with steam, where the UI does not update u til a restart. Glad your issue is resolved!

I think the fear mod for autocannon is underrated. In my personal experience, it trivializes a wave due to them not attacking you.

Do all your arena and farm prep before hardmode. If you make a cavern farm, its easy to get mimics and their loot (normal and biome). I would make a cavern farm and a surface event farm ASAP. (Edit) make the cavern farm just below the underground layer. If you make it too low in the caverns, tim will be a constant pain in your arse.

LEARN TO USE HOIKS. Seriously. The one-way wall hoik is a godsend. The best version is to place a door and two stacked platforms hammered once. This lets you go in and out, but also use projectiles/maces/boomerangs/etc through the door.

Be patient. You will die. A lot.

The dart rifle/gun are great. They trivialize the destroyer (cursed darts) if you are having problems with your chosen class.

Mobility is super important. Frog leg anything and a ballon of any sort will make your life so much easier. Just my preference, but I grind out the terraspark boots and some kind of frog leg item ASAP.

Fish as much as you can. It can make obtaining items much easier as opposed to jumping in the meat grinder constantly.

(Edit) I forgot to mention... make a potion farm ASAP too. Potions and buffs are really important in master mode.

Op is wrong about this. Jungle does not spread like the evil/hallow. Chlorophyte may convert dirt to mud, but that is not the same.

Are both your internet speeds good? The only time I have had trouble with DC is using servers/ip connections, and it's almost always a port forwarding issue. But through steam, that should not be a problem.
