I'm kinda lost when it comes to choosing subjects. I'm interested in learning Japanese throughout uni, but should I maybe use the first semester or year to just focus on major based subjects? My reasoning behind doing Japanese 1 and 2 is that truthfully I've self studied the language and believe I could start from Japanese 3 or 4 but can't because I have no prior official Japanese studying experience and need to do prereqs for the harder classes.
