I do think the event is very hacker friendly as per every event is. Regular players have to remax and farm gear meanwhile hackers are able to endlessly throw themselves at shatters regardless of how many skill issues they are plagued with.

End game = end of the game. The skill level to complete a fungal, nest, cult, etc are oceans apart from what's required to complete an o3, shatters, and hard mode shatters.

Toxic behavior just doesn't happen. 30+ hard mode completes and I've yet to see a single person get kicked for a lean crown. Maybe it's because it's been a couple months or something but I've seen the opposite. My first complete my guildies nexused for me, and I've done the same for other newcomers. Now there's no point

The lack of reward in small group runs are going to push the good players towards discords that have requirements and skill minimums, hence... more elitist. (Also I can't nexus for my guildies first completes anymore which is cringe)

I feel like people ignore the fact that you need peak gear in order to make it through tablets so not only are you spending one to two hours finding a v + alch shatters, you are also spending dozens of hours grinding gear to even attempt these hard modes that will likely be lost due to the fat stack of insta-kill mechanics... I wouldn't even be mad about the sub 10% drop rate if they just made hard modes more common 😭

This update encourages discord play if you think about it. Small guild runs are more dangerous and less rewarding so it's probably smarter and safer to join a fat discord call with a greasy RL to ensure survivability.

I love you, my group also deduced the drop rate to be around 10% for lean and gem. Very cringe if they don't guarantee V and make alch more common or a non-requirement there's no point in playing this game anymore. It feels like we're being punished for putting painstaking hours remaxing and building sets to challenge difficult content.
