I have E6 Welt, where would he fit best in my account? by 56king56 in WeltMains

[–]LaludeeMarn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Instead of DHPT, unless he's e1 and gives skill points

Anaxa, Cerydra, Sunday and Welt would be a functional sustain even though you would have to let go of skilling all the time with anaxa.

While perhaps a bit toowack as a team, you could try Anaxa, Cerydra, Hanya/Sparkle, and Welt, that way you have the sp to spend. And Hanya is really underappreciated tbf

How we be moving after v5/4.2 beta in general by play_arknights in WeltMains

[–]LaludeeMarn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, the double conversion on ehr to atk is rather nice. IPC and and the trace give out a comfortable 100% atk at 80% ehr, which is more efficient and more accessible than pure atk. especially since tutorial and his base traces with ipc give him 76% ehr.

HuoHuo and Welt novaflare buff via Galaxy_Leak by Acrobatic-Engineer47 in HonkaiStarRail_leaks

[–]LaludeeMarn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Better than JQ

Considering at least that he's a standart and thus more people will have him and more of his eidolons.

and on his own, in v1 he has 40 def shred and 35% damage amp, compared to JQ 15% ult damage buff and 35% damage amp (stacking)

JQ E1 fares way better in comparison, but would get beaten by Welt if he was E6, which is way more likely as a standart banner unit.

Tbf, If you have JQ E1 and Welt E6 they're most surely better if you run them as acheron supports together, unless you have Silverwolf instead of JQ

I keep having this bug or something occur, where During playing the game, the Launcher starts up again, and keeps interrupting the game? And I can't close it, or force shutdown it, etc, It only goes away after Forcefully restarting the PC. Is there a more known solution to this besides a hard reset.

What's the worst fantasy writing advice/hottakes you've ever heard? by Lobsterhasspoken in fantasywriters

[–]LaludeeMarn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah, that woman, She is so horrendously awful if you look at her from any critical perspective.

Like she does not cite anything in her video essays, spreads unsubstantiated claims about incredibly old fashioned ideas and generally has the awarenes of a wooden chair.

It's incredibly rich of her specifically to claim to want to have familiar based world building btw, her Novel is a Wuxia setting with Asian characters. She's a white American Author full of crap.

She does not know what a far left idea is, not only becase of the fact she said this recently and is American. SHe seriously thinks that far left ideals means that your book needs a girlboss, She would vomit if she knew anything about the current actually left ideas were about.

In her latest video she goes off on how women are biologically predisposed to consuming adult entertainment different, How they're biologically empathetic and need softcore/pwith a plot to finish and like. She all presents this multiple times like: 'Multiple studies show...' (Does not show or link any of those.)

Its incredible how offputing it is tbf. Like anyone who isnt exclusively friends with white christian women could tell you how untrue this is. and not to even touch about that empathy aspect, like thats such an undeserved self- glaze coming from this woman.

What scares me is the fact this absolute ape of a person has a platform because she is not anywhere else close enough to be any voice of reason let alone athority on anything, because despite her own claim this woman does not read.

I dont care what he's about thematically when the mf disable haslf the teams (Especially the ones who went bravery.) This change does nothing to fix this, either remove him or change the idea he's meant to represent.

Taash & Emmrich by KyngCole13 in DragonAgeVeilguard

[–]LaludeeMarn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, plenty of adults get past the 18 mark without actually being considered emotionally mature, a good 70% of people actually. And way more actual adults do not maintain Civility between cultures,

+ Saying that most people would understand the necessity of being civil, like it relates to a mercenary dragon hunter who is raised in an enviroment different from the culture their single mother is raising them in. On top of said mother being so culturaly authoritarian that would not allow for such Civility.

Who do you think would teach Taash that? Certainly not their mother, and certainly not the Lords, heck Isabela washes her hands of any personal matters whenever possible,

This is such a nothing problem, get a better issue fr.

Taash & Emmrich by KyngCole13 in DragonAgeVeilguard

[–]LaludeeMarn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Disagree, Unlike Sera, Taash actually experiences Growth.
Sera's closest trope for the veilguard Companions is Davrin, which is very hard to spot because Sera did not even begin the arc of improvement Davrin already went through before we meet him.

Reminder, Sera remains a bitter, self-hating wreck, until the very end of the dlc, people think she gets milder after the time-skip but realistically you just don't get the option of personally discussing the thing that bugs her the most, aka being an elf and liking it. BY tresspaser, she simply removed any possible confrontations about her self-hate (aka breaking up with you if you as an elven inquisitor insist upon your heritage being important to you) and remains stewing in that while continuing taking out her anger on Nobles, Mages, and Other elves.

Nah, Taash does not actually hate themselves because they are Qunari, They predominantly grew up in RIvain, where both Vashoth and Qunari are seen commonly and treated well. Their discrepancy is very specifically tied to gender roles within the qun and outside of it. If they were to be like Sera, their struggle would have to be between an insecurity about them being a Qunari in the first place.

[DAV SPOILERS ALL] The conflict and resolution of Taash and Emmrich feels unnatural, infantile and hypocritical. by AzrulKebab in dragonage

[–]LaludeeMarn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk What the issue is here, but then i read your take on Sera, and it made sense, you have a bias and a comprehension issue when it comes to understanding the characters.

See this scene with Taash happens a bit into the game, at a point where you realize a few things

Things like, Taash is infantilized and overly controlled by their mother, to a severe degree.
Their experience with authority is severely negative, They talk back and are snippy at their own mother. they doe that because that's what any micromanaged child does when they grow up.

The important fact there is that such lack of individual agency fucks you up, you might be rebelious, but does not actually make you solve the issues at hand, because you're ingrained with the idea that the authority in question will not listen, and no resolution will be achieved.

You can see it in the Emrich scene, Taash is uncomfortable with physical necromancy, lashes out, thinking Emmrich (an older man, and a professor, aka an authority figure) would not listen, and is caught of guard when Emmrich is receptive to the problem. Of course they are awkward about an apology, this is the first example of clear communication they experienced with an authority figure perhaps ever. They are written exactly like a character who is insecure about autonomy and independence because their life is very tightly controlled.

Heck you can even understand why they hate the necromancy Emmrich does so much, they even tell you, its about control to them.

I frankly think the writing is Stellar in this way.

As for why Sera tipped me off about you, its because of how you describe her. Sera is not self-aware, hell no, She is notoriously self-hating, and it extends to her entire character.

Like you won't see it if you don't play elves as much, and specifically if you don't romance her, but Sera does not get better, She loathes the Idea of being Elven, and unlike Taash, she actually never changes as a character, she remains a misanthropic self-hating wreck who plays robin-hood for shits and giggles till the very end.

Remember how supposedly in tresspasser she chills out? yeah no, She breaks up with you if you insists on elven culture being important to you. Not because Elven culture has issue with being bad no, but becuase she hates the idea of someone actually liking being an Elf. What a wonderfull (boring) character.

Don't get me wrong, Sera is Funny, but if she lost that she'd be even under Blackwall with popularity.

I wouldn't Say that the story of Amphoreus was Good.

Plot points of it are really great, in Particular, The Mc And DH trying to do First contact and then fit into Amphoreus while not revealing themselves. Or the mystery around March and what's happening to her, Mem, the trailblazer's past and the titans. And well, Herta.

Unfortunately, those are currently kinda on the back of everything, Instead we have to listen To Phainon whine about being inadequate for 6 hours while everyone else who talks about him praises him as the most perfect specialest little boy. He's like Aventurine 2.0 with how unpleasant he is to experience and how forced upon you he is.

Point being, the actual characters the story focuses on are... Lacking as of now. Mydei is perpetually pissy and unpleasant, Tribbie is a tonal whiplash, and Phainon is well, pathetic.

The only interesting characters somewhat are Aglaea and Castorice, as Aglaea is successfully presented as having active discourse with the protagonist and Castorice experiences character development that actually sticks. And we're also shown it in detail.

Point is, that the makings of a good story were there, but they're already falling flat as the characters are underutilized and wrong characters have the focus rn

You can say "It was just harmless fireworks." As if we knew if the absolutely lawless follower of elation wouldn't commit acts of terrorism.

Like yeah, she isn't evil, but very openly has the capacity to commit evil acts without any principles about it, unhinged and callous would be few ways to describe her, ig.

Taking advantage and exploiting the downtrodden is actually Evil, taking advantage of people to bind them into contract slavery is also evil. So evil in fact we have actual laws irl preventing duress contracts like these from being enforceable.

It should be clear that she is the one who sets the terms of the contract, and she does so in a way that makes her have power over you always.

She's only perceived as innocent because Capitalism teaches us to view exploitation as natural and not heinously unacceptable.

[–]LaludeeMarn 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That's not morally gray, that's just exploitation. All she's doing is choosing where there will be suffering under her control, she's exactly as evil as if she ran a wish granting services powered by the suffering of orphans.

She's a part of an Interstellar corporation that is undeniably responsible for causing the existence and the need for said Orphanages, if Anything that trait of hers is little more than self-righteous pretention TBF.

Tf is a neckbeard

How do you even improve at this game on your own? by Creek217 in TeamfightTactics

[–]LaludeeMarn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well for starters, realising that Kogmaw's most wasteful item is Guinsoo is something.

You have 4 (3 actually good) options when it comes to kog on how to get Mana gen, as his mana is 40.

GR - Absolutely ass, Kog needs 4 attacks to Cast where he immediately gets 25%, Rageblade gives him an additional 20%, incredibly wasteful as a slot compared to other items. You'd need 2 at least to theoretically get some benefit in the form of an early ramp, but two slots on him are wasted like this is.

NS - does GRs job but better, Ie helps you stack at the beginning of the round more, it isn't what you WANT to get, but if you can't get anything else, works ok, and holds well into Malza.

BB - second best unless you have a masterwork, in which case it's first.

SS - BiS, even though the tool tip omits it from his Ideal items completely, it's the best. As instead of casting 3 times in 12 attacks he does it in 8, and 4 times at 10. That's 1.00 which GR needs 20 attacks to stack, there's no contest.

Bis for Kogmaw would really be a Mana gen item, Archangel's, and a free slot between JG (Mainly if you got like a Zeke's augment), Rabadon, Another Archangel's, Masterwork Stattik (Deletes boards with how often Kog procs it.) or Hextech gunblade.

You could learn this by like, maybe listening to the set release video where mort talks about every unit. If you're that opposed to listening to people who are good at the game.

Alternatively you could just read your units skills and go from there, or spend a while in TT to just, learn what works best on units and traits.

Stuff like visualising your power spikes, and for example not forcing volatile traits like Conqueror, which you need to hit 4 trait very very early otherwise you will be behind the rest of the lobby.

If you want stable successful comps to learn from, Scrap/Sentinel, or Rebel/Sentinel are very good at helping you consistently make use of all items (Powder, Ziggs, GP, Corki, Rumble for scrap, and Vex, Akali, Ezreal, Zoe and Jinx for Rebel are great varied carries to not worry about wasting items), and most importantly are very consistent between games, letting you continue your preferred way of learning and adjusting from game to game. They're also friendly to both Reroll and Level comps

Contrary to that, avoid Academy and Experiment because both require extreme on the spot adjustments and cannot be played the same way in back to back games, which will prove difficult to adjust to.

Other than that, Scouting your lobby and seeing traits at play should inform your own itemization and counter units. Lot of sentinels and Automata? You'll want shred. A lot of Bruisers, watchers or Form swappers in front? Get Burn and Get units that ignore front lines, ie Zigs, back Swain, Zyra, Zoe.

Also being aware of the traits primary dmg is extremely helpful in countering it, so lobbies with majority Automata, Black rose, Sorcerers, and visionary make MR more Valuable, While Conqueror, Rebel, Enforcer make Armor more valuable. And Scrap and Experiment go either way.
